It's such a relief that the next issue is coming out so fast now. Hopefully this title can start moving along now and gain some traction.

So disappointed that Wasp and Wonderman are joining the team. Of all the Avengers, they're probably two of my least favorites. They just do nothing for me.

The roster is freakin great

It just donned on me that this is the most traditional of the Avengers books. Like, if there were a book meant to evolve off of everything post-Bendis and the last 50 years of Avengers stories, this would be it...really makes you think about whether this one or Hickman's book was supposed to be the flagship title before all the delays. Also makes it clear how serious Marvel is about bringing the X-Men and Avengers together.

Even with the delays, it took me a few issues to warm up to Remender..it always does with him.

I've read them in other comics before, never once have I liked either of them. Wasp was overly annoying in that preview as well... like 90s Jubilee.

I'm not sure I see the need for Jan to have beef with Rogue. Rogue and Wanda already have a rivalry going. I think Jan would be better as the voice of reason that brings all 3 women together.

I agree. Janet is usually the calming influence in the group

The thing still preventing me from loving this book is Cap's whole "we need some clean looking mutants on this team so that the average ignorant person won't be too scared." I'm hoping Rogue will ugly this team up with her personality

Maybe add some characters with physical mutations. If Beast wasn't in New Avengers he'd be perfect. I just hate this cast because it's catered to making lesser beings "comfortable."

I wish Wolverine wasn't involved in this title. Even if I factor out my natural dislike of the character him being an Avenger doesn't feel right, plus he's already in a billion different titles as it is.

But yeah, a PR team does make a lot of sense after AvX. Even back in Whedon's Astonishing, the main reason they gave for bringing Kitty back was because she is so camera-friendly.

Remender has said the roster will expand and other characters will show up, but yeah, Beast would make sense, considering he is an original X-Man and a longtime Avenger, as well.

Hahaha totally.

Naw. The lesser beings that I refereed to are the Marvel Universe individuals who still can't accept that some people might be blue or green, or look a little different. The X-men have been saving lives for forever, and there are still bigots. But apparently all it takes is to look clean and work for the Avengers. Gottit.

So yeah, the lesser beings are the racists.

And the are the demographic in the Marvel U that this team is trying to appeal to. Which I hate.
