Venom Revamp

I want to get my hands on more Spider-Man comics from when some of the villains were first introduced. More specifically, I want my hands on every single issue with Venom in it as well as the Lizard, the Green Goblin, and a few others.

Well, I bought ASM Issue #300 (first appearance of Venom) for $45.00 back in November or December. First appearances of Villians are $700.00, $800.00, and higher! They may be lower, but they will most likely stay above $100.50.

im proud to say that that is something i can lay claim to...i have every issue venom has ever appeared in of any comic minus gargan...i dnt see him as venom (although i do have a variant thunderbolts comic with him on the cover). Im almost done collecting his action figures and i have 2 or 3 statues of his and theres ofcourse the random assortment of venom merchandise

I don't even know if it really exits, because it was a long time ago...but is there any issue which Spidey faces Carnage with Venom's help and the Surfer slightly appears too?

yes, he had the symbiote in that Issue. Before that though, in Web Of Spider-Man #18, Brock pushed Peter in front of a train and Peter's spider sense didn't go off. All we saw was a hand push him though.

Thanks for the crash course in history, I really was confused. I've had the thing for 7 years or so. I've never been a huge collector, just grabbed random comics from here and there. I think this instance has helped me figure I'm going to sell my stuff. I'm not enjoying the whole keeping old issues bagged and boarded only to not have any clue what relevance the thing had. I'm going to continue getting trades.

And i don't want to worry about messing up something that is valuable just to reacquaint myself with something. I don't necessisarily like trades better, but I have an easier time not messing them up or worry about if they are keeping up in shape or if staples are gunna fall out ect.

Now my MLB signed baseballs, those stay kept in special protective cube holders

It's awesome collecting ,and I got a lot of buddies that keep em bagged and boarded in comic boxes. I just sometimes want to go back and read to just read. And i don't want to worry about messing up something that is valuable just to reacquaint myself with something. I don't necessisarily like trades better, but I have an easier time not messing them up or worry about if they are keeping up in shape or if staples are gunna fall out ect.

Yeah, I love holding sometihng in my hand as well. However, if there are reprints we don't have, the internet is very reliable.

Hmmm, well there's always Donald Thomas's website. He uploaded basically every Spidey comic there is, but you need to install CDisplay to veiw alot of them, which only takes a a few minutes. Then there's always Marvel's Digital Comics, but you need to subscribe, which costs money. Also Donald Thomas is a memeber on this site and he's a great poster.

Venom's revamp seems pretty boring and plain to me, i dont feel they took the time to revamp Venom enough but rather i feel they spent more time revamping Eddie Brock.

It won't cause any harm and yes, you need CDisplay. hell, I have it downloaded myself.
