Venom Revamp

which brings me to another question....will spidey take the suit from brock? will we be tricked into thinking brock is dead? (ala joker batman tas) or will he escape?

Very easy to overlook this, since you updated your post after we went to another page.

Actually, I don't get your question...can you re-explain it?

He wants to know if Venom will end up being split back into Brock and the symbiote, if Brock will escape to plan his next attack, or if we will be left with an ambiguous fate for Brock as to whether or not he's dead.

Well, Venom will be back as soon as Season 2. That has been confirmed in a podcast. So, the real question is, how will season 1 end?

Will Eddie & the symbiote be separated?
Will the two be sent to prison still combined (like in ASM 300)?
Will Venom actually get away only to come back again (like Clayface at the end of "The Batman")?
Will Venom appear to die (like in Ultimate Spider-Man)?

Really, I just took what Anwar said and added more, so...yeah. Answer? I dunno.

lol...my bad.
I didn't want to double post...

Anwar has got me covered on the explanation though.

I just really hope they don't do a I have to feel sorry for this villian approach like in The Batman. It was the first episode I ever truly enjoyed on that show. VERY SHOCKING really well written and I think Weisman wrote it actually please do correct me if im wrong....
but it got REALLY old after a while.

If you ask me, I think the Symbiote most likely will be seperated from Brock, but in season 2 he would obviously get it back.

Excellent!

Personally I'd like Venoms fate to be up in the air at the end of season 1. Simply because, there will be no doubt Brock will know who Spider-Man is. And Spidey wont truly know if Venom is dead, that way, he'll have to look over his shoulder wondering what if?

Or not.

I don't know if I'd really like that. I mean as much as I love Venom, I wouldn't want his threat constantly overshadowing Peter's life, every episode.

That would be great!

Save that for Norman Osborn. He's much more worthy of being that villain who makes Peter constantly have to look over his shoulder.

Yes, but Venom was always meant for that "stalker from the shadows" feel. Norman is more...of a schemer. Create a life-ruining plot and brag about it right to Spidey's face. That's Norman. Do things from behind the shadows, and bring Spider-Man's life to ashes. Venom is the type to keep Spidey watching his back constantly, being the type to pop-up at anytime, and drag him into teh shadows with him.

Personally, I don't want Eddie to be seperated from the symbiote. That seems to happen to often, in the comics (Too many times!), Spider-Man TAS, SM3, hell, even Unlimited! Lets have them stay together, for once.

I have a feeling they will, but hey, you never know.

That will be most suitable end to S1. I guess is the right villain to end the season with.

Exactly.

If he was constantly being referred to, every single episode, as Spidey's greatest threat. Although it has been working for Tombstone, so I don't know.

But why would he be constantly referred to, in every episode? He may not even have a presence, all I'm saying is Peter is uncertain as to whether or not Venom is still out there. Like I said, keeping his fate at the end of season 1, up in the air.

Sorry, that's just the impression I got from your idea. Like how Venom was in TAS when he first appeared. I've just thought that if he wasn't contained, he would always be haunting Peter.

I'll bet you anything that the Lizard incident will matter very little to the formation of Venom. I'm betting something happens to Gwen that Spider-Man should have prevented, and when the suit tells Brock that Spidey and Peter are one and the same, that will be more than enough to drive Brock crazy (with some help from the suit, of course).

Gwen's not going to get killed this early on. She's not going to get killed at all in this series, they're saving that for the DVD movies.

I'm a little surprised they didn't introduce Ann Weying as Eddie's girlfriend or something in this show, to have her leave him later on which adds to his bitterness.

You mean Gwen dieing? Doubtful, she hasn't even "blossomed" yet

It doesn't has to be every episode.

Oh yeah, that would have been a nice addition. More to add to Eddie's grief.

I've read amazing 300. and I remember the days where venom used to be bound to his symbiote or he would die. (which was a plot element in his second appearance. in the 90's series)

can someone PLEASE explain to me why he's removing the symbiote like a hat these days?
