Guys, this is potentially huge news...May 2009 is now back open!

http://boxofficemojo.com/schedule/?view=changes&p=.htm

Narnia 63 has moved outta 2009...meaning there is now no big event sequel for May! If W.B. jumps o nit and announced either MOS or JL for May 1st, May 7th, or (hopefully) May 15th, take my word it is GUARENTEED to be the box office event of May; which would obviously mean...big box office!

W.B. JUMP ON THE CHANCE! ENOUGH WAITING!

ungg... Narnia was terrible.

I dont know I liked Narnia wasnt a bad film to me at least.

Narnia was good but it should have been a more epic feeling film like lord of the rings im really waiting for the Hobbit to be made i LOVE that book.

Narnia will always be a hit. There are too many fans of the novels plus you are going to get the Christian market going to the films. The private Christian schools will always encourage children to read the books and see the movie.

As far as MOS releasing in May, as it stands right now -- and if it happened -- it would see competitioin from the film "G-Force" (a CGI action kid flick) in the early part of that month. Rumor has it that there may be an "Incredibles" sequel in late April, so it would have some competition there as well. After the third week of May, it would receive stiff competition from "Avatar" (May 22, 2009) and then you would be moving into the summer blockbuster season. ths is only base on what is published at CommingSoon.net and IMDb.com. It is doubtful that the MOS project will even make it for a May date since the original plan was for a June release and at this time there is no real movement like its sister film "Justice League".

I will love to see an Incredibles 2

What the **** is "Avatar," and why does it appear to be entirely ****ing gay?

I love avatar, it's the ONLY show on Nick that deserves to be somewhere else, it's not really a kid's show, the story is much more complex then say, Spongebob.

It's the best and first show on Nick, that beat Spongebob, or at least that's what Nick says and alot of nickolodeon fans.

Apparently this live-action avatar trilogy is suppose to be huge like the harry potter films the only concern I have is M. Night Symalan directing the film. Sure he's an avatar fan, but he's not a very good director.

Great, now movie goers will get to sit on their asses for six hours as opposed to the usual two hours they wait for that last 5 minutes when M. Night actually gets to the whole point of the movie.

Are you dissing on Spongebob, 'cause that's just not OK. :cmad:

Wolverine has claimed the lucrative May '09 slot.

No i think you're confusing Shyamalan's Avatar (based on the Nickelodeon cartoon) with James Cameron's mega budget scifi epic of the same name.

The Shyamalan Avatar doesn't have a release date to my knowledge.

Edit - Just realized that Batman1987 is a banned user.:O :p

eh; first weekened may is over rated. May 15 this what Justice League should take though JL will no longer be the "event" of may; itll split ti with wolvie.

No the Nick toon's Avatar has no release date. It hasn't even started filming. It's still early in the writing stages.

Also, the Gatchaman movie NOT G-Force won't be big competition. Especially when they said they are going for a darker PG-13 type of tone. There's not a big market for CG animated films like that. Also, Gatchaman is NOT that popular as say Transformers is/was.

Yeah, I read about this yesterday. I must say, I'm shocked that FOX is actually giving a director a whole year and a half to make an X-Men film. That's definitely a first. I though for sure they would try to rush Wolverine and try and get it out by Summer 2008. I wonder if Hugh Jackman being a producer on the film had anything to do with it.

Fox is planning to release Avatar in IMAX 3D so if WB goes for that date they wouldn't get a run at IMAX.

I'm kind of shocked as well.Trying to get that movie ready for summer '08 was complete madness.I'm glad they came to their senses.

Than w.b. is is stupid; no other release date is better for JL thats open

Gatchman and G-Force are on and the same thing

G-Force is the 80's version of Gatchaman re-edited for US release. They changed all the character names from Battle of The Planets and the original Gatchaman series.

Gatchaman is the original, uncensored, Japanese version with the Japanese names.
