I totally agree with everything you posted here. All of the people who talk as if they are some kind of authority on Superman should gather their poor naysaying asses together and raise money to make their own version of Superman. Maybe then we'd find some peace on these boards while they're distracted.

What is funny about that is that they would all get together and none of them would be able to agree on how the movie should be made becasue they all have their own ideas of how the movie shoud be made.

I have to disagree also. SINGER has done an AMAZING job with the X-MEN movies. As a matter of fact, X-MEN 2 is my all time 2nd Favorite Comic Based movie, with Superman II being FIRST and Spiderman II being THIRD. CONAN the BARBARIAN is fourth (based on comics lol).

I like SINGER, Brandon is a good choice in my opinion. I do not want my post to become a hate post dissing either one of these people. I'm merely asking...what would have made the most money. The current route they are taking...or a SAFER route like I mentioned in my initial post. I think it is a clear no brainer that the SAFER route like I mentioned would have created LESS NEGATIVE buzz and would have generated better reviews and a BIGGER following than what we currently have.

And this whole "can't judge a movie before you see it" arguement is just crap.

I knew BIG MOMMA 2 was going to be complete crap before it ever came out. And it was!

I knew DATE MOVIE was going to SUCK before I ever saw it, and it DID.

I knew BATMAN FOREVER was going to SUCK as soon as I saw BAT NIPPLES...lol

And yes, I knew BLADE TRINITY was going to SUCK as soon as I saw the NIGHT STALKERS and what DRACULA was going to look like.

I knew POSIEDEN ADVENTURE was going to TANK...and well, it will given its big budget and its lack luster appeal. I saw the movie Saturday and it was really good...but more like something you'd watch on DVD, not the theaters...the original was better by the way!

You do not have to see movies to know they will disapoint you...that is why you have a BRAIN and can exercise rational and logical judgements.

Let's not turn this into a lets BASH Singer or X-3 is better than SR thread. Let's keep the HATE down. A simple… YES it would have done better if played SAFE or NO it would not have done better, would have been appropriate. Perhaps I should have made this a snap poll.

PLAY SAFE or NO PLAYING SAFE...which would have earned the BIGGER BUCKS!!!??? That is the question...

Well then you should get a job in Hollywood because you obviously KNOW everything.

I understood exactly what Cinnamon was saying, so I don't think his English is all that bad. He has improved immensely since first coming to the boards and works at it everyday. Its pretty tough to be fluent in 3 languages, nevermind that he is dealing with 3 different languages on a daily basis.

The point is....on an international site....mocking someones use of the English language is uncalled for. I'm really glad that you can put a sentence together better than him....are you two the same age....did you attend the same school....have you both been studying English the same amount of time.....or are you two different people?

According to the King Kong trailer this movie was gonna be full of awesomeness.

I didnt think I was gonna like MI 3 but I did..enough to see it twice.

If it wasn't for Singer and his X-Men movies most likely we wouldn't have all the comic book/superhero movies that have been made the past 15 years or so.

Fifteen? Uh... you DO know that X-Men came out in 2000, right? That was only six years ago... how can it be responsible for making films before its release possible? It is responsible for bringing back the comic book film "industry" from nowhere after Batman and Robin flattened it, but still...

Going that far back, you can thank BATMAN for re-envigorating the comic book film market, which had been flattened by Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, and then even farther back, we owe everything to Superman: The Movie for showing people that comic book films could make money and be fantastic while doing it in the first place.

Maybe you can judge if you're gonna like a film or not but not if it's going to be a flop or not.
