I'm SHOCKED the options do not list Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 was the ABSOLUTE worst MCU film. It was trash / garbage. Every other movie has been from entertaining to absolutely amazing. Thor 2 is a second, but not even close. Iron Man 3 didnt even have Tony in the suit most of the time. It was a silly remote control suit and giving Pepper powers ?!?! What ?!?! Non-sense. And they RUINED the best villain in the Iron Man mythos. They turned him into a punchline. They coulda had Ben Kingsley as one of the best MCU villains ever but they wanted a cheap laugh to fool the audience. It was lame, cheesy and terrible.

The funny thing about Iron Man 3 is how little an impact it has on the MCU in general save for the removal of Tony's arc reactor and the destruction of his mansion, which don't even get brought up in future films. His suits get destroyed, but he still continues making more anyway. Pepper got Extremis'd but that went away. You could skip that movie and not miss a thing in the overall narrative.

Tossup between Hulk and Iron Man 2. But at least Iron Man 2 has a great cast; Norton is horrible as Bruce Banner.

100% Correct.......Absolutely.....Each other MCU builds toward something. Even though ppl hate on Thor 2 , it has the reality stone that sets up Infinity War. Iron Man 3 has nothing in the big picture.

Out of the poll options, definitely TIH for reasons that others have already mentioned. It's just dull and lifeless, there's nothing strictly wrong with it but there's nothing noteworthy or interesting about it either. And Norton is a terrible Bruce Banner, Ruffalo is so much better. TDW is overall a weak film, but in contrast to TIH it very much has it's bright spots such as the scenes on Asgard. Frigga's funeral in particular is a very good and memorable scene with beautiful visuals.

This will be unpopular, but the only MCU film I've actually fell asleep during is the First Avenger, I just find it so boring in parts. So whilst I recognise that it's a competent film and isn't technically weak in any way, it's my personal choice for least favourite in the MCU.

Thor: the Dark World. It's easily the least memorable film in the entire MCU for me. Much as Iron Man 2 was a commercial for The Avengers, it had some memorable bits. Dark World? Only thing that comes to mind when thinking about that was when Loki transformed into various characters.

Outside of that, it's the one MCU film- at the point when I did go see them all opening weekend, though that's changed- that I wish I'd held off on watching and didn't make me anticipate Ragnarok, which to this day I haven't seen.

That is such a shame. Do yourself a favour and watch Ragnarok! Like others have already pointed it, don't tar it with TDW's brush, it's nothing like it's predecessor. They deliberately went in a very different direction, there's no boring human characters or filler, just two hours of wacky cosmic adventure. And Thor is finally made the most important character in his own movie. Very highly recommended. :woot:

Were you born in Italy?:oldrazz:

Ah, Italy. The sworn enemy of fun, and the Ragnarok board. :hehe:

I put IM3 on my list.

I'll take your word on that, but I'm perfectly fine never seeing another solo Thor film.

Look at the critic and audience scores of Iron Man 3 compare to the movies that are actually listed, along with the box office. Iron Man 3 was a massive hit across the board.

Also look at the poll results - it's neck and neck between TIH and TDW, with IM 2 (generally considered the weakest of the IM trilogy) in dead last.

I know how a vocal segment of fans feels about that movie, but it doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

My gain, more like, but you know, semantics, opinions, all that.

Dude calm down...not everyone has to share your opinion. Honestly I think Iron Man 3 is a pretty entertaining movie...more so than Iron Man 2. You don't have to like it but its definitly not trash.

Thor 2.

You clearly forgot better character utilization and action. Apocalypse wishes it got more better reviews. They are not the same.

Here you are again with your usual habit of putting down a MCU film to make your favorite X-Men movie look better and act as if audiences are dumb not to see quality. How condescending.

How is it condescending to think one mediocre movie is comparable to another mediocre movie? Also where did you get that X-Men: Apocalypse was is "my favorite X-Men movie?"

If you want me to be condescending, here goes: your arguments are as specious as a child's.

Have you just decided that any Thor film from here on out isn't worth watching? Not judging or anything, I understand that because I feel completely fine staying away from the Fast and Furious franchise despite how many people tell me they're great.

Well, yes. First one's a solid film, second is a bore, and despite how many have raved about Ragnarok, I have no interest in seeing it or any subsequent solo Thor film. Call it Dark World poisoning the well or just me scaling back how many of these films I'd actually pay to see in a theater.

Much as I dislike Iron Man 2 for being an intrusive commercial for The Avengers, it was at least enjoyable at times and made me want to see a follow-up. Dark World doesn't do that. Ragnarok having a great teaser trailer doesn't change my mind.

Iron Man 2 has a LOT of cool scenes and great moments, just falls apart as an overall movie, that is all. I always found forwarding through to individual scenes very enjoyable with that one.

That's your decision and you're of course entitled to make it, but it just seems like an odd position to me, especially if you find the first Thor to be a solid film and have no particular dislike of Thor as a character. I have disliked the DCEU films (except WW) to date, and yet if the reviews of Aquaman come out and are raves to that extent that Ragnarok got, I would be more than willing to give that film a chance. I'm not going to tar it with the same brush as it's predecessors if people say it's a vast improvement on what came before. It's not like Ragnarok is riding on a great teaser trailer alone, the actual film has a 92% approval rating on RT and made over $850mil worldwide, I would have thought things like that would have earned it the benefit of the doubt.

But oh well, I'm not you and it's all personal preference at the end of the day.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was attrocious.
Iron man 3 was bad.
Thor 2 was eh.
Iron man 2 was okay
Ant-Man ages horribly.

All weak links.

Guardians 2 for me.

Really? I thought that, though the pacing was a bit off and an occasional joke fell flat, GOTG2 mostly added to the themes of the original in a positive way. Why did you dislike it so much?

actually yeah Guardians of the Galaxy 2

humour just wasn't for me

if I watch GOTG 1 again and enjoy it enough I may give it another shot

And that should've been it. I don't care how great Ragnarok did- I have no interest in seeing another solo Thor film. And yes, I'm putting that on Dark World. What you find odd I find to be just fine.

The weakest movie should be the one where you actually went into the theatre and expected a fine cinematic masterpiece beyond expectations but got royally screwed out of 10 bucks. That wasn't Thor Hulk or IM films. That was AOU. Started out great then made me want to throw my popcorn at the screen. Ultron trying to apologize to Hulk before getting sucker punched into the atmosphere still pisses me off. Ultron worst villain in MCU.
