i think the only reason Cyke gets killed is because of the sake of putting James Mardsen in Superman Returns which is a half ass job done of Cyclops in X3

I've personally never been a big fan of the astral plane concept and don't really see it working well on the movie screen.

I can't even imagine the dialogue that would take place between two supposedly 'dead' characters trying to explain how they showed up again, especially in a completely different dimension or realm.

well lets say in X4 (and i'm just going with the story from X Men Legends II Age of the Apocalypse) they give a quick description of what the Astral Plane is all about. which can explain the psychic powers Jean and Prof X posess. Gambit can be brought in along with the return of Nightcrawler and of X4's story would revolve around one of the most popular stories in the X Men world ...Age of the Apocalypse. Introduce Mr. Sinister, Apocalypse, and since we have Angel turn him into Archangel. Of course the final battle would be the X Men vs Apocalypse and the 4 Horsemen. Which would also mean the return of Sabertooth. Then of course have the Brotherhood team up with the X Men to stop Apocalypse. I don't see room for the Sentinels being in this one but if we can't have Apocalypse then than it should be about the human hate towards mutants and General Trask taken Apocalypses place instead and have a big war between humans and mutants through Sentinels. Just ideas i'm throwing out there tell me what yall think...

That's definately what FOX thinks.

And from what I've heard, if there is an X4, it'll be an adaptation of Days of Future Past, which is a story where Cyclops is dead and does not appear.

So even if they make X4, that doesn't mean Cyclops will be in it.

And even if they made X4 and it was Days of Future Past and it was 100% faithful, I still wouldn't see it because of what they did to the Dark Phoenix Saga and how they slapped Cyclops fans in the face with X3.

i will still watch it but i'm hoping the secret scene after the ending credits gives us hope of Cyclops, Jean and Prof X coming back

Why is Jean on the ground unconcious?


When Jean kill people in the movie, she does not fallout. At the lake Jean is knock out laying on the floor. So something else must have happend. Then some of the water is gone. If you watch the movie, something is not right about all of this.


Ratner or whoever can still bring Cyclops if there is a X4.

as far as i'm concerned...it's possible that the Phoenix was about to kill him but passed out from exhaustion or what not...and Scott i wandering around the forest with eyes closed cause he can't see without he glasses.

but at the same time...storm and wolverine probably looked around a little from the x-jet before they took off...i don't know. there's a lot you can do with this.

it's a comic book movie...just like comics...there's always room for somehow bringing a character back.

and how is it not plausable that during the kiss she was too weak to follow through and passed out...cyclops wanders off...

it's really not that far fetched.

Well it looked like she was sucking out his power when she kissed him. Quite possibly she could've blasted him into the surrounding woods. She had just 'risen' and therefore she maybe wasn't using her powers to her full potential.

there are so many different plausable senarios.

but everyone around here is getting all pissy around here all the sudden because characters died and what not...it wasn't a perfect movie...yeah...but it really wasn't as bad as it's getting around here right now IMO...it's pretty rediculous.
