Transformers What did you hate about this movie?

The movie remineded me why I can't stand Michael Bay movies.
He has no sense of pacing. His movies are constantly loud and busy, like a two hour music video. I defy you to find any clip of that movie that lasted more than 4 seconds. It is such an onslaught that I completely lost interest 2/3 in. I had this exact feeling when I saw Armegeddon. The fact that the plot was about as stable and juvenile as an episode of the cartoon from the 80' didn't help that either.
Transformers made very, very cool toys...a toy and puzzle combined..but even as a kid, I always felt the subject was a little too fragile to translate to a medium. This movie shines a big spotlight on that for me.

Prime seemed to show up pretty late for the downtown fight. Perhaps in a deleted scene Barricade tried to ram him and they got into it for a little while?

The movie adaptation comic was confusing but, I'm pretty sure Prime takes out Barricade after defeating bonecrusher.

The Bonecrusher fight alone was enough for him to be late. The other guys didn't stop and watch him, they proceeded on to the city in his absence.

Bumbblebee's voice at the end...yuck! He sounded like a dirty old man. "I want to stay with the boy". I was expecting Dateline NBC, and Perverted Justice to appear out of nowhere with Chris Hanson and tackle BB to the ground.

From a robot that sounds like a 50 years old that sounded a little pedophilish to me!

I think BB suddenly talking was a big wtf moment too. I figure he got his voice back because of his extended contact with the Allspark (Just like it fixed Frenzy)..but did EVERYONE else in the movie theatre get it?

I still think the movie's got plenty of good to outweight the negatives most fanboys are pointing at with wreckless glee as if the movie's done them some terrible wrong... this ain't scooby doo by a long shot. It's more Ninja turtles perhaps. Damn good for a first try at a live action spin on the franchise.

I have to say I used to hate that teh allspark created only decepticons, but now I realize that all technology is decepticon in nature since it was reverse engineered from megatron. More to this flick than meets the eye.

I meant it more in tone than anything else.

And who was the main characraters in Terminator?

Saddling a sci-fi action movie mainly on humans is done all the time. It's nothing new. Its purpose is to make the outrageous events seem more spectacular due to them happening in a grounded real world setting.

That's where the 2007 tmnt movie fails in my opinion. since it's all a cartoon, we lose that sense of Awe and wonderment we got from the original movie which though cheesy to some extent, really sells the idea that these turtle creatures could be real because it seems pretty realistically like our world.
