Transformers What did you hate about this movie?

Too many Autobots and Decepticons. Not enough time fleshing each robot out properly. Bay could've saved money by removing both Jazz and Devastator/Brawl. That way the money spent on rendering the two most useless robots could be spent on extending a few of the fights. BB vs. Barricade and Prime vs. Megatron.

So, you complain that there wasn't enough fleshing out... and then suggest they fill saved time with extended battle sequences?

Just a couple of seconds. I dont expect a 30 second rumble blow out to 2 minutes. How much time and money did it take to render Jazz and Brawl? Spend half the budget on extending a few fights by a couple of seconds. Spend the other half on one or two scenes for the Decepticons. Eg. On the roof where SS and Megatron had Sam cornered. Would've been great if the two had a few lines to say.

There's like 20 characters with speaking lines, it's way too many. For the sequel I would like to see less human roles.

Saddling a sci-fi action movie mainly on humans is done all the time. It's nothing new. Its purpose is to make the outrageous events seem more spectacular due to them happening in a grounded real world setting.

The funny thing about this statement is that this movie managed to make the humans more outrageous and cartoony than the Transformers ever were. I found the impossible hacking, invincible supersoldiers, and Sector 7 reverse engineering all our technology underneath the Hoover Dam less believable than the concept of transforming alien robots. It takes someone like Michael Bay to make that kind of idiotic mistake.

When this project was first announced 3 years ago I was skeptical and knew there was a strong probability that it would suck. I'm happy that Micheal Bay proved me wrong. I'm sad that the movie ended. I could have watched another 30 minutes of that fantastic action. Now I have to wait 2 to 3 years for a sequel.:csad:

Jazz.

The hackers.

Sector 7.

Facial construction of all the bots.

BB pissing.

These things were all tolerable for me. One thing that bothered me was I didn't see the decepticon symbol once in the whole film!!!

It was quite prominent when they panned down the side or Barricade at one point.

But yeah, not enough of it. I really wanted to see it emblazoned on Megatron's chest.

1. I really did not like Megatron. They could have given him a more Gen 1 Twist --like Optimus. Megatron did not impress me.

2. I also disliked the fact that the Decepticons did not clearly convene together as a group like the Autobots did, so we could have appreciated their voices and forms clearly.

3. I also disliked the fact that Starscream had very little on-screen time.

4. I also disliked the fact that these Transformers can be destroyed so easily. Since they come from an advanced alien society you'd think their metal would be more resistant to earthly weapons. Alloy, Titanium, some strong metal technology would have been cool.

Since, according to the movie, all of our modern technology was reverse engineered from Megatron, and we had Megatron in our possession for decades, it stands to reason we'd know enough about their tech to mount some kind of defense.

1. The Prime vs Megatron fight was a huge disappointment. It was too brief for one thing, but mostly the disappointment was in how Megatron mostly kicked Prime's ass all over the place. Couldn't they have at least had one shot where Prime punches Megatron into a building, or throws him? Prime should have had a better showing.

2. There was too much humor. Rather, there were too many attempts at humor, because many of the jokes fell flat.

I don't even remember them really fighting. And the Bonecrusher fight that everyone was sooooo looking forward to lasted like 3 seconds.

I love that the Prime/Bonecrusher fight is short. It shows that Optimus isn't a pushover and can kick some arse. That being said, I can see how some people might not like it.

I wouldn't have minded it... if they proceeded to actually show the Megatron/Optimus fight, which I apparently blinked and missed and no one has assured me actually happens except off-screen or in the background.

Hated the music that played over Primes awesome closing dialogue. It should have been an epic score that played, not rock music.

naw, would have been weird with the after-movie clips there. Felt like a 80s movie ending... nostaligic to the max, dude.

I just meant they could have started the rock music after the scene, once the screen went to the credits..like most movies do.

Prime needed an epic score over that epic dialogue.

What was with all the nose picking? Sam's teacher. The arab guy putting through Lennox's call to the pentagon. WTf?

Jazz's death made no sense to me! Also how the hell did he get in that situation? Bumbleebee getting shot into a wall and having his legs blown off allows him to talk how? Also Ratchet is a horrible medic!

nothing I liked every bit of it.

and i hate the isolation lol. (sorry to sound so emo)
anyone else feel me?
btw im sorry if you liked it. the movie wasnt all bad and i lvoed the autobots so dont yell at me but thats just the way i feel
