Transformers What did you hate about this movie?

What I dislike:

-not much character developments on Autobots except Optimus and Bumblebee

-and it makes Jazz's death empty

-I don't mind Decepticons as monsters, but Starscream really needs more lines

-Sector 7

-Optimus abandons Bumblebee...poor guy

-Confusing battles

-Bad editing, how Bumblebee defeats Barricade? Where is Barricade after the high way scene!?

-Humans are better in killing (hurting) Decepticons than the Autobots do.

-I can accept humans killing Blackout, but watching Megatron, freaking Megatron getting hit by missles and apparently really damaged by them. Even if Sam didn't push the Allspark into Megatron's chest, I'm sure he will be blown into pieces by more planes....T.T

The fact that this movie was a comedy with seirous parts inserted into it, rather than it being a serious movie with comdey inserted into it.

Hate him or not, he is a very important part of the plot. He is what got other Decepticons to find out whereabouts of Cube and Megatron.

He is like one of Soundwave's minions.

However, they could have other ways to do it without seem so silly.

i liked the movie quite a bit, but some things did piss me off.
1. Ironhide, his characterization and dialogue just didn't do it for me.
2. Frenzy, felt like I was watching Gremlins 3
3. Some of the editing and problems with matching shots
4. The fact that the military could do a damn thing against the Decepticons
5. The Bumblebee/Barricade fight felt completely cut out.

I actually liked him a lot more than I originally thought I would. He was pretty bad ass shooting out those CD blades, and the name Frenzy fit him perfectly as a transformer crackhead. He was pretty funny, trying to blend in and salute when he got off the plane on his way to Barricade and when he decapitated himself... "Oh Sh**!" lol

Two things I hated about the movie.
Some of the comedy moments where way out of line for me but I can oversee that, however john turturo... I hated his role. I cringed everytime he was onscreen. But the worst thing for me was the damn editing and the close-ups, I mean the final battle got me dizzy all I could see was pieces of metal, the only discernable fight was the optimus vs bonecrusher fight the rest was just a mess and that fast editing mess it up even more.

Okay correct me if I am wrong as I have yet to see the movie but, if the humans have had Megatron in a deep freeze for years then wouldn't it be possible that they managed to develop a weapn that could penetrate his body? You know for fear of an invasion.

anyone feel the movie was edited a little too short? 140mins is though pretty long, but I still feel that the whole thing is like going on a rush.

anyone got that feeling? maybe give it a 15 mins more to further smooth up the storyline and give more showtime to those killer decepticons?

Yep, editing was the real problem here. The cuts were horrible. If they made it King Kong long, I think I would have enjoyed it more. Or just rip out the entire house scene, that would help.

Actually house scene was funny also had the autobots i would have kept that.

What they should have cut out is the hacker. 5secs and he broke the decepticons communication that is so ridiculus. Way too much airtime for those hackers.

Agreed, the house scene dragged too long. Especailly all the crap with his mom's speeches, and his Dad diving under the table and in the bathtub.

Yeah ok...lol do you not find it funny that, with a movie that was, in your opinion, ruined in one fell swoop, that others feel 100% exactly the opposite? Sure, if a movie is bad, and there are some that disagree saying "it wasn't that bad, it was somewhat enjoyable" thats one thing, but there are people out there who feel so strongly in the opposite of what you are thinking that your remark really makes me seem to think that you are just a hater of sorts. I mean, come on, in the cinema I was in the movie got an applause and standing ovation for gods sake. That doesn't sound like a movie that a bunch of people saw that was ruined.

It all boils down to Megatron. I wasn't at all bothered by the whole deceptisquad being ruthless rather mindless animals. That works. But I think great movies have great villains and if this movie gave Megatron more spotlight, it would be sitting besides some of the classics. By having the main threat frozen for most of the movie, the movie bounces around from one minor antagonist to another until all holy hell comes when megatron is unleashed. But the flaw is that we don't really know him beyond a mini-clip suggesting he's a big meanie. Which he is, but we're missing some dialogue he could have had to set up his evil ambitions, which was shoe-horned all into the finale with a few throw away lines like "humans don't deserve to live" wtf? why does he even care about humans deserving to live or not? They're merely insects to him... This is a misstep. In the end megatron comes up shallow. He's Mummra the ever living, more than megs and weaving is truly not doing much more than Welker could have done with ease. Wasted casting.

I imagine his demise would have been more powerful had he been allowed to do more serious damage than rip up one autobot and boot prime in the face. He should have been shown just killing and stomping on people and then having prime at a serious disadvanatage at which time spike comes and shoves the allspark up his ass.

I for one had one major problem (though I think the movie is freaken awesome!!!)... If someone could care to answer it, than I'd be most pleased.. But I dont think there's any answer to this one! It's just a movie-mistake.

Howcome the All-Spark, whenever it came in contact with anything it only created BAD/EVIL robots!!????? This bugged the hell out of me! The All-Spark ONLY created psycho robots that stood up and began shooting!... why not GOOD ones also?? Prime says the All-Spark is the lifesource within all transformers, but in the movie it only created evil beeings! This wasn't explained and it sucked.

Like most people here, I thought they had way to much comedy (It's an alien invasion and a war). They could've made it a little more serious. The film had some scenes that was meant to be funny but came out cheesy. I didn't like the human soilder going gung ho while sliding on the ground, shooting and killing one of the decepticons. The super genius kids that just came out of high school to help the military wasn't needed.

The film has weak spots. However, I came into the film looking for a fun action packed experience and it delivered. I look at this film like going to an amusement park. You see the newest roller coaster thrill ride and you get on it and it was one heck of a ride. That is what Transformers is like to me.
