The Dark Knight What Will TDK's Rating / Certificate Be?

PG -13 today is just an R rated movie 20 years ago.

More like most R rated movies today would have been pg-13 twenty years ago, and definently anything remotely PG is pg-13 today. When was the last time a movie was even rated PG, Attack of the Clones? PG has no weight anymore, if there is any intensity its pg-13 and unless you break your back trying not to get R, theres no good violent in a pg-13 movie that isnt Die Hard.

The movie will have no profanity, no nudity, or sexuality. What could warrent an R-rated film? Just violence can easily pass PG-13 these days. The only way The Dark Knight could be rated R is if there's an extreme amount of violence, and even then, if there's no guts and gore to go with it, it'll still be PG13.

I heard in Batman forever in a cut there was a sex scene with Nicole Kidman and Batman had his cowl on. Something like that, if its fake what a shame if its true oh man I have to see that and make that a gif

It's more than likely it'll be a hard PG-13 rating with parents strongly cautioned due to scenes of action and suspense. Plus, this Joker is different than Jack's Joker and the Joker will be the certifiable thing to get the movie a hard PG-13 rating.
