:lmao:/10

I liked Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace and would love to see them remake this movie with another script, a big budget, better villains and a better director as the concept is cool, but as it was it's dull as dishwater. 4/10

Well this is why they make the big bucks and you are just a forum poster. Break into hollywood and make a movie then and lets see how easy it is.
just because im not a filmmaker doesnt mean i cant think a movie was poor..

Now you know why some people don't brake for bike messengers.
haha, yeah

anyway, i saw jack reacher today. i really liked it. i was very surprised. shame it got so burried. its an exciting movie

The Room.

For the third.

I just watched that. Didn't find it as dull as you did...but it wasn't real exciting either. I liked Pearce's flippant attitude, but the one convicts psycho brother was a pain (and hard to understand).

Les Miz

My favorite film of the year thus far, although I still have yet to see pretty much all of the "Best Pic" movies besides Lincoln (unless TDKR and Hobbit are still being considered in the Oscar race). I had heard many of the songs before and had seen bits and pieces of the play on the internet, but the movie was my first experience watching the full story unfold, and I though it was absolutely fantastic. And I haven't gotten the songs out of my head since I walked out the theater.

I think they'd have been better focusing on action scenes for Snow inside the prison as opposed to the spaceship fight the budget wasn't designed for, I mean he never had a good fight scene which was a shame as Pearce was good. Agreed on the brother, he was irritating and impossible to decipher most of the time.

Rurouni Kenshin

Too soon to rate, I'm 36 minutes in and I'm lucky I didn't expect a thing, it spared the disappointment, not that it's bad, but it has manga silliness like the lady's (I forgot her name) school teachings; [blackout]"Do not take advantage of the sword" and "The sword is not to kill"[/blackout] (that shouldn't be a spoiler to one used to the manga series, but in respect to the rest)

The Host (2006)

The poster would lead one to believe it's just a monster movie, it's a film that primarily focuses on a less-than-picture-perfect family. Albeit one that finds themselves dealing with a sea monster that takes one of their own. And though the monster's screen time isn't extensive by any means, when it does appear, it's pretty great.

Rurouni Kenshin

9.6/10
Best comic book film released this year imo, a very well done film

Last movie I saw in theatres was This is 40. 7.5/10.

Last two I watched on Blu-ray were John Carter and The Dark Knight Rises. I will say 8/10 and 7.5/10.

Basically all were enjoyable, but none were movies I'd watch over and over.

Lincoln

Utterly engrossing. And was that scene of Samuel Beckwith giving Lincoln his gloves symbolic.

The best of the trilogy for me, the time travel story worked well. 7/10
