Except it wasn't. I was expecting a more thought out response. ''Because it's awesome'' is too shallow.

For you, because you can't think of a proper response. When movies like The Avengers and Batman hit that mark, or even movies based on highly successful books, it's easier to see.

What is this? Grade school? :funny:

Says the ''because it's awesome'' guy. :oldrazz:

Fargo - 9/10

When I first saw this, I wasn't a fan of it. Now a few years later revisiting it, yes, this is one of the Coen's best. The script and structure is very good, especially with its 90 minutes. I also forgot how damn funny it is.

But what is awesome? It's not like it was a visual spectacle or the sequel of a highly praised movie.

It was the former.

Nope. It was.

Not to mention:

These gif's do no justice, they look like average green screen effects

I demand things to be awesome.

I want him to direct the next Star trek, Star Wars, James Bond, Battle Royale, Lord of the Rings, Die Hard, and Cabin in the Woods
Then mesh them all together in the most brilliantly conceived universe

Catwoman

After all these years I finally sat down and watch this horrible film. A list of all the things wrong with it: The bad CGI, the club dance scene, the crazy cat lady as her mentor, the Spider-Man-esque powers, the basketball scene, the Sharon Stone, ect, ect.
2/10

Knocked up.

Still gets me laughing my ass off after (almost) six years.

8.5/10

Detroit Rock City!!
DISCO IS DEAD!!!!!!

Doctor Zhivago (1965)

I'm not a romance kind of guy, but a romance told on a grand scale, between two flawed people, in the backdrop of a war and class system overhaul of Soviet Russia is a bird of a different feather.

I always let these grand epics sweep me into them and immerse me into their world. It had been a while too, making it even better.

The Babysitters - Only watched it because nothing else was on, and I had seen the trailer a few years ago. It's really odd. Halfway interesting premise, cast was good, plot and character development were seriously reaching. But they tried.

Just for the record, Skyfall was - being generous - pretty mediocre. But that's being generous. Realistically, that's quiet a poor movie. However, it looked absolutely amazing. Beautiful cinematography. Shame about almost everything else, though. And this is coming from someone who was REALLY looking forward to it, so no 'hating' here. It was just bad. I won't go into detail until I see it again, because when I saw it I was desperately trying to like it. I'll give it another pass to refresh my memory and see if anything's different.
