The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982) - 7/10

I remember watching this movie as a kid and really liking it. I saw it again recently and still enjoyed it, though it is flawed. The cast is excellent, as is the plot. Anthony Andrews chews scenery like crazy as the titular character, but he's so over-the-top it's hard to understand what Marguerite sees in him. I will say one thing about his performance: there's absolutely no way anyone on earth would ever suspect him of being the SP.

My wife and I took our son to his very first movie. He was awesome and loved the entire experience. What a great time ... The movie was pretty cool for a kid flick, too.
