Politically incorrect slice of oldschool British comedy. 7/10

Running out of steam by this point. 5.5/10

Quality mystery with a great cast and atmosphere. 7.5/10

Upside Down

Visually spectacular but with a script that deserved so much more. Is like a very little love story set in this amazing pair of worlds that are just begging for Spielberg to do some science fiction action scene with it.

The Getaway (1972)

Sam Peckinpah, Steve McQueen and Walter Hill. What a team!

McQueen was as on form as ever, and fit into Peckinpah's aesthetic perfectly, sweaty, with his suit getting progressively shabbier. Walter Hill's script is pure Hill, a modern day western. I felt that Peckinpah was toning himself down, maybe to make a more commercial film, but it still had all his personal touches.

The Last Samurai

9/10. Easiest one of Tom Cruise's best movie. The performances all around are just phenomenal especially Cruise and Watanbe. The story is great, the ending battle is just freaking epic. I always hear complaints ah I can't believe they made Tom Cruise the last samurai, little do they realize in the title its meant as plural. The title is referring to the entire last clan of Samurai.

Agreed all around. It really is his best movie. Sure he's had others but man this one is definitely in my top 10 favorites list

I liked the structure of this film, the shootout sequence on the stairs was classic Peckinpah and Ally McGraw was hot.

Great film.

Rambo: First Blood: Part 2

8/10

Some badass action, especially love Rambo stealthily taking out the Vietcong in the jungle when they think they are hunting him.
