3.5/5

Just watched "Scary or Die"

It was... interesting. Not all that great, but interesting to say the least. For those who don't know, it's a set of 5 short films (much like VHS). Only one of the short films was really good, and that's because it was the longest and provided actual character development. That was "Clowned."

Overall, from a horror fans, 3/5. Interesting, not great.

Very interesting, and some decent acting from Butler. Was surprised to see Michael Shannon in this. I give it an 8/10.

Batman 7/10- Keaton is really the only thing I like about this movie, never liked Nicholson as the Joker and Bassinger was alright but I think their relationship is the best romantic relationship in a Batman movie. The fight scenes are terrible and the whole Joker pulling a ginormous gun out of his pants is the dumbest thing I've seen in these movies, yes dumber than the credit card. It makes absolutely no sense plus he should be dead, Batman missing him like that is just bad story telling.

Batman Returns 4/10- I can't stand this movie. I think its beyond awful. Penguin is a horrible villain, who really does absolutely nothing. Catwoman was eh at best, she really doesn't do anything and is only there for a romantic fling with Batman that isn't very good especially coming after Vale. The fight scenes just like Batman are beyond terrible, Keaton is just too small and that suit is too bulky for him to be able to do anything. Once again the only good part of this movie is Keaton. Which brings me to my biggest problem with both of these movies. They should be called Joker and Penguin because they certainly aren't about Batman. He's by far the most interesting part of the movie and he's delegated to a side character in HIS OWN DAMN MOVIE. Just dumb, absolutely dumb.

Batman Forever- 7/10 I actually think this movie is decent. Its biggest flaw is that it doesn't know what it wants to be. Half of it is sad, brooding Bruce who doesn't want to be Batman anymore and the other half is way over the top campy Riddler and Two Face. Kilmer isn't as good as Keaton but he does look way better as Batman and he is given a little bit of meat to work with unlike Keaton who probably would have killed to have something to do in these movies. I have fun with Riddler and Two Face even though I don't think that is how they should have been portrayed and I thought the origin of Robin was handled decently well.

Batman and Robin 5/10- This is bad but its so bad that I find it mostly entertaining. I find it just as hard to watch as Returns but at least it has a little humor even if it is pretty bad.

Meh, it's not like anyone cares about the non-Schumacher Batman movies anyway! :oldrazz:

lol

I'll say that Batman Forever remains as my least favorite (which I still put it pretty high among other superhero films) but every time I watch it I get a little something more out of it, even though it didn't know what it wanted to be.
