It's quite interesting to say the least. I normally have a disliking of these types of art house films, but this one worked. It took a while to win me over though with the film on a whole...granted It won over when Scarlett Johansson was naked in the first 10 minutes. Where some of these types of movies just drift off without making any point, this managed to have somewhat of a coherent storyline. In a way it reminds me a lot of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers. There's a couple scenes that I wont forget, it was just truly haunting. Overall it's a decent surprise. 7/10
Roughly on par with the first, maybe a bit lesser. I loved the end credits and Ice Cube owns these films. I think the "Meet Cute"/"Plainview Redherring" stuff was really tacky.
I've been meaning to see this for a couple of months now and man I can't believe it took me this long. This movie f***in rocked. I didn't exactly know what to expect and boy i'm glad. It takes that Die Hard/Raid/Dredd/ect concept and put it in a train and have it in the post-apocalyptic setting. Joon-ho Bong directed this who directed The Host (the Korean film) so this film have a lot of that Korean filmmaking touch. The cast was incredible and Chris Evans knocks it out the park again this year. The way it builds is something that is missing with a lot of summer blockbusters today. So instead of going out to watch the new crappy Transformers movie, go see this sh** people. This was so good it makes you wanna slap yo mama! 9/10
