I didn't get the nostalgia bump that a lot of people felt watching this, but it was an enjoyable movie. Pratt's character was probably my fav of the bunch and the kids were surprisingly not annoying. 7.5/10

We Are Still Here

I'd read a few good things about this so decided to check it out. Starts off with an interesting idea, the isolation, the atmosphere of the house and jump scares work quite well, but then it becomes all too familiar and predictability sets in right towards the end. The practical effects are well done for a low budget horror and the lead couple do a decent job for the most part. Some elements could have been explored more in depth but just end up entering cliche territory. 6/10

Punch-Drunk Love (2002):

I love this movie. It's part of the reason why I both love and despise Adam Sandler. Sandler is actually a really good actor when he wants to be, so it's frustrating when he makes his crappy "Happy Madison" films (which I suppose makes sense, since most of them unfortunately make money). Anyway, this is one of my favorite performances of his.

Chappie (2015)

I enjoyed this much more than I was expecting given it's reputation. It's a messed up family dynamic movie. Dev Patel and Copely where great together. Jackman was hilarious, he was relishing the chance to eat the scenery. Die Antwood should've been played by real actors, they where a major detraction.
