Executes it's neat concept perfectly and delivers it's message in a huge fun package. 9/10

Samson & Delilah (1949)

Quest For Camelot (1998)

Tomorrowland (2015): I hated this movie. The first bad movie I've seen in 2015. Brad Bird ... What happened, dude? I'm so disappointed. I don't know how anyone would approach something like Tomorrowland in a pretentious manner ... But they did it. Wow. The fun was nowhere to be seen with this film.

Moonstruck (1987): Found this on Netflix earlier, and decided to watch it (since I had not seen it in quite a while). This is one of the few "chick flicks" that I really enjoy. It's just a fun movie. A part of me thinks that I enjoy it because I'm part Italian though. :p

Ah, I almost forgot:

I watched Hector and the Search for Happiness (2014) last night on Netflix. It very much reminded me of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) in the sense that it's about a man on a journey away from his normal, everyday life to find a sense of self and fulfillment. I didn't hate Walter Mitty (didn't think it was very good either), but I found Hector to be slightly better with its storytelling and its main character. I also thought the acting was much better in Hector, overall.

The problem with Hector and the Search for Happiness, though, is that it's very "paint by numbers." There's nothing really exceptional about it, but there's nothing exactly bad about it either. It's a harmless, but forgettable movie.

All-Star Superman (2011)

Amazing. My favourite Superman comic adapted into my favourite DCAO.

Vice (2015)

I wasn't really expecting much from this, I'd only rented it because some other films I was expecting hadn't come in yet. But to my surprise I recognised crew members from the likes of the recent Universal Soldiers and the Expendables trilogy so this turned out to be a very slick, well shot action film. That's about all the genuine praise I can give it, but thanks to sleepy Bruce Willis and drunken Thomas Jane, there are plenty of unintentional laughs to go around.

V/H/S/2 (2013)

One thing I've missed these years has been the horror anthology, and it's something that's come back in a big way with VHS, The ABC's of Death and the upcoming Tales of Halloween. I've kind of avoided the V/H/S franchise as while I can tolerate found footage, mixing that with mumblecore is too much hipsterness for me, but I didn't mind this one. Adam Winguard and Gareth Evans are the highlights as you'd expect, especially Evans one. I do feel we got way too much zombie stuff overall, hopefully the other ones mix it up more.

Mean Streets (1973)

Underrated Martin Scorsese mob film and his earliest. Harvey Keitel and Robert De Niro have great on screen chemistry together. De Niro gives an outstanding performance as the arrogant and often unlikeable Johnny Boy and he has some great lines as well. It sounds like Scorsese actually narrates the inner monologue for Keitel's character Charlie in a couple scenes whose inner conflict is the main focus of the story. The movie has a very candid feel to it and some of the editing seems pretty inventive for the time. The soundtrack is excellent and the score fits each scene perfectly. Fantastic and intense ending. A must see for fans of the gangster genre.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Figured I'd jump on board with everyone else & watch the trilogy before I go see JW on Friday. So. Much. Nostalgia. :D
