Agreed; heck, given their much larger budget that they have to work with compared to "Thor"; I'm hoping for some kickass flying shots of Thor in this film. Truth be told, I wasn't that impressed at all with Thor's flying scenes in his own film. I was kind of hoping to have seen his flight scenes executed with the same quality that I saw applied to Banshee in FC.

If Marvel is smart enough to have done some great Iron man flying scenes, then I think the same should be applied to their only other hero in the MCU that can fly as freely as well.

Just imagine, a massive sun blocking flag ship comes into view, Iron Man lays down suppressing fire, makes himself a distraction for the smaller fighters as well. Then Thor summons a bolt of lightning into his hammer (like he does in the Frost Giant fight), streaks towards the flag ship at supersonic speeds then just BOOOOOOOOOOM one shots it.

I keep wondering why Marvel is so adamant about showcasing Iron Man's flight abilities in the trailers but only hinting at Thor's.

I've been hoping for a beautiful Thor/Coulson bromance ever since Thor pledged to come to aid Earth if Phil ever called on him. They should go bar-hopping so that Phil can introduce Thor to all the really good beer Earth has on tap, instead of the mediocre brews he drank in New Mexico. Thor and Selvig probably settled for MGD Light. **shudders**
