^ Yeah but he should soundly defeat Cap and Iron Man (with them putting up a good effort) and his fight with Hulk should end in a draw, that's how it should go.
You know what I've realized? You talk about Thor... A LOT. Obviously you're a Thor fan, but you must have some kind of special attachment to him or something. :thor:

My guess is it ends with them agreeing to stop fighting, like it should. I am sure Thor has his awesome moments in that fight, also. They just had to feature Iron Man doing something cool.

True

Lol wut, my name on here is "Big Thor" that should be a given.

Everone knows that

Question: what are peoples speculations as to how they'll deal with Jane Foster? Obviously Thor will have more pressing business to attend to, but do you think that relationship will be acknowledged at all?

Yeah it should be acknowledged in some form, even it's just brought up during the conversation on Shield's hellicarrier.

This is definitely one of my favorite Thor Shots of the new Trailer:

Yeah it is, I also like the shot of Thor standing on top of what appears to be Stark Tower and looking very angry towards the end of the trailer

I was just about to post it, I wonder what he's just got through doing or is about to do in this shot.

Well, I've read theories that Loki somehow uses Stark Tower in order to open up the portal for his alien army to come. What if Thor's up there with the intent on destroying it, assuming that everyone else is busy or incapacitated.

It'd be pretty kick ass if this is where loki and Thor have their one on one rematch..echoing their last encounter in "Thor".

Yeah I really hope this is the case so Thor can use one of Mjolnir's exotic powers to close the portal, I also want their to be another one on one between him and Loki with both of them using their powers to the full extent (weather control, powerful magical attacks etc.)

Well it was confirmed that Thor will have a one on one fight with Loki since Tom said that he goes up against each avenger individually..and I don't think Thor and Loki get into a physical scuffle during Loki's time on board the Hellcarrier...and I haven't heard of anything regarding Thor confronting Loki in a physical way before or after that either, save the NYC Battle climax.

Yeah I'd rather save their fight for the NYC Battle climax, I was also glad to hear Tom say that Thor is the Avengers member that gives him the most trouble.

He even said, "Thor still comes out on top" which is great news for me considering Thor being more powerful and Loki being smarter is how their relationship works.

Yep, Hemsworth most certainly has the look down pact now the only thing left to see is if they've given him a respectable power level.
:exp:

I can see that Thor Avengers Hair Watch is going to keep me very busy.

Do you think that first shot a part of the forest scuffle scene? Looks a bit mountainous and open.

Love both of those shots though. Savage Thor is so amazingly watchable.

You know what I've never paid much attention to those moutains in the background, I think it would be cooler if it was a different scene than the forst fight.

I hope he stands here on top of a building before he attacks the Leviathan/Serpent/Whatever thing from above. It would be cool if Thor would fight it while he's flying. Something similar to the Destroyer fight but even longer and more facinating. That would be terrific.

yikes, 300 post, avvy I'm coming!!!

Yeah I definately want to see Thor pulling of some cool attacks while flying, expecially during the potentially mind blowing final battle in NYC.

I have another theory with this.

How about Thor was hit by Iron Man's Unibeam? We don't see a beam but the glow at the background.

I get to this because I don't like the thought of Thor flying back when he hits Cap'S shield with Mjölnir.

The shot of thor in the room screaming no gave me chills :)

I hope he is looking down on the Hulk below tearing up the city and he goes down there to whoop his green.....

Yes, I think those mountains *are* part of the forest battle. The forest definitely looks "northern" and coniferous, and I'm wondering now if it might turn out to be Scandinavia: a fitting place for Thor to mark his return to Midgard.

I think the "Leviathan" battle begins with Thor on the street below with Cap and the others, as evidenced in the "I'm bringing the party to you" scene from the latest trailer.

This scene on top of Stark Tower I would imagine to be the climax of the Loki-Thor throwdown; Thor has probably just destroyed and thrown down the "flux capacitor" or whatever that Loki's jammed into the building as the hyperspace antenna source of his invasion portal.

Definately, I was thinking the same thing about Thor being on top of Stark Tower and let's not forget that there's two leviathan's so there's gonna be two battles.

Having him first brought down to Scandinavia is a great idea.

The Iron Man clip of him walking out of his armour is excellent. I hope there's also a shot of Iron Man's face when Thor finally summons on his chain mail.

I also can't wait to see Iron Man's reaction after he kicks Thor through that tree. He wouldn't be expecting the bare-armed hairy dude to be able to get back up and beat the crap out of him.

"You got a mean swing!"

I wonder if the fight goes on long enough for Thor to direct a bit of lightning at Iron Man?

Argh! Roll on April 25th! I need to see this now!

I do hope that they allow Thor to take out one major physical obstacle that the enemy presents on his own in the film; I’m pretty sure that everyone else will have their own moments as well when it comes to taking out or destroying something significant.
