In Thor 2, would you rather have Thor with the shorter hair from Thor 1, or the lighter, longer hair from TA? I kinda like both

Thor movie earth hair was bad in colour and style. So shorter Asgard Thor hair, but with Avengers coloured facial bum fluff.

It's funny, I remember a lot complaining about the Avengers look when the first pics came out. But after all he looks so much better than in Thor, I think?!?

TA look for sure. It just looks more....natural when you compare the two side by side (the dye job on his eyebrows and beard in Thor was just bad - especially under the lighting of the SHIELD base around Mjolnir) I like the length/cut/style of his hair and beard in Avengers much much better.

I like the TA look better too. In Thor he looked like he never showered or like he had too much moose in his hair like some GQ model.

Besides that one pic where his bangs are to one side makes him look like Kirby's Early Thor pics when Thor's bangs hung out from under the helmet

I definately like the longer more natural looking hair in The Avengers, but I like the costume from the first film better.

The natural color of Thor's beard in TA was nice as well, but I liked the size and thickness of the beard he had in THOR.

They are still releasing new spots?

Yes. The latest was urging people to see The Avengers again over the Memorial Day weekend. Disney/Marvel knows that people are still seeing the film by the millions and they are still marketing it. I saw that ad at least half a dozen times in primetime this weekend, and I don't even pay much attention to TV. There will likely be another new ad for next weekend.


One article about Disney's marketing plans for TA said that they would be running the campaigns with their merchandising partners for a full four months after the film premiered. Even back in March Disney was certain that TA would play for months. They obviously called that one right.

And IMHO, i feel like it would be a bad idea if they portray Thor as anything but the powerhouse he is. I belive he is Marvel's most powerfull if given the chance to display all he's got!

Exactly. They bleached his facial hair in Thor and it just looked....weird. He has a much more natural looking colour in Avengers.
