Perhaps an alternate story for BvS should have been..the Parademons from Apokolips invade earth led by Darkseid's son.
Lex Luthor uses propaganda against Superman saying the demons are aliens summoned by Superman or from his home planet here to overtake earth.
That is what gets Batman involved in battling Superman.
When Batman further investigates to find Luthor's claim is a hoax, the core 3 unite to defeat the invasion.
Hearing of the defeat sends Darkseid into a frenzy which has him launch a full tilt onslaught against earth.
The core 3 are aware of what is coming, know they need more help then just the 3 of them and that is what starts JL and sets up the JL movie.

No but because of censorship here, I think most times it is.

How? If someone wants to say that a movie is ****, they can say it. I've said as much about the most recent FF movie on numerous occasions.
