and this supposed new teaser poster
will give people the impression that the movie is darker

but then again it's just a movie

I know that Warner Bros is not the Fox but the recent Hitman affair (Xavier Gens fired for doing a too violent movie ) makes me think the studios really don't want to take risks....kids can sleep well !

yeah, i think what makes joker the Joker, is that hes a goofy lookin clown on the outside that doesnt look too intimidateing, but a real phycho killer nutcase on the inside. thats what is so ironic, and apealing about his character. however, with ledgers joker, it looks like they are going for the creepy on both inside AND outside.

This guys always reminds me of the joker.
In particular, he struck a bell with the intiall released picture of ledger, I see what you are saying about creepy both in and outside.

I think at the beginning Nolan Bros made it not too violent visually, disturbing yes maybe but not too violent !

Na, they supposedly were going to re edit it so it was toned down completly. The directors cut supposedly is very very violent, which I think is perfect.

Xavier Gens got fired and the movie will probably be cut to get rid of the most violent scenes (and there were really f***ing gory things it seems)!

Gens is still trying to stay on board but I'm noty sure he's gonna be victorious (and that perfectly explains one of the biggest mystery of my last few days: the fact that the relasse date has been postponed, in France at least)!
