I was at comic con and I can def say that venom looked a lot more realistic then I thought! AND VENOM ISNT EVEN COMPLETED!

Yeah, Spider-Man's a man in a suit, and Venom's a man in goop. Either way, once they start doing their thing, FANTASY kicks in, CGI takes hold. Making them look realistic every time you see them, ain't gonna happen. Unless, they're in suits the entire time--and that ain't happening either. So realism is pretty much going to be going back and forth. As much as I love LOTR, I could tell Gollum was CGI 90% of the time based on his looks and movements.

Well while I was NOT sadly at Comic-Con, I did watch the bootleg footage on YouTube, and I must say that from what I can see Venom definetly looks like he does in the comics. And yes he looks very realistic.

you have to remember how everybody made X-Men 3 sound. people will be so anxious and excited that with the few seconds they get to see they are unable to properly and thuroguly analyze it and decide how good it looks. It's not the same thing as when you get a clear view for a long period of time and can look at it again and again.

That was exactly my point; Venom, in my opinion, will be more cgi than spidey. Yep that was it . . . I think, and you just aggreed with me.

oh, and I did originally say, "further into the realms of fantasy", but have a nice day, we will see in time.
