Robin Williams in Batman 3? I know I would and great an actor also worked With Chris Nolan in Insomnia.

I'd rather see no Catwoman or Riddler but I guess I am in the minority.

But in respect to your post, I have no problem with Robin Williams. But what can he play. He is rather old nowadays. And I loved him in Insomnia.

I could see Robin Williams as The Ventriloquist but personally I would want William H Macy to play that villian if they ever had him in a film.

I picked him to play Arnold Wesker/The Ventriloquist years ago. I think he would be a fantastic, creepy choice for the role.

Other than that- I'm not sure who I'd want him to play.

Penguin?

So nobody else wants Robin Williams in a Batman movie....??

He would have made an awesome Joker back in the day if Nicholson did turn it down. Anyone know if he actually did a screen test?

He proved he can do serious creepy roles in movies like One Hour Photo and Insomnia. So I wouldn't be against him appearing in a Batman movie.

I remember rumours back in the day that he was going to be The Riddler in Batman Forever.

Robin is my favorite actor. I would be EXTREAMLY pleased if he was in BB3

I think that was more than a rumor but i forgot why it didnt happen. Yea itd be cool if they cast him as the riddler if they want to use that character in the third or some other villain because the man can pull off serious acting...I loved one hour photo!

Williams as The Penguin is a good choice but I always preferred Bob Hoskins.

I enjoy Williams in a lot of his films but if he were to ever play a Batman villian he had better push his acting ability harder than he ever has and yes I've seen Insomnia, One Hour Photo and The Final Cut.

He was, in fact, going to play The Riddler when Tim Burton was going to direct but when Burton left, Williams turned the role down.

He was also bait to get Jack Nicholson playing in Batman 89. If Nolan directs next Bat film, I could see him in it.

Robin Williams could do just about anything you could ask him to do. The man's a Juilliard graduate... That's gotta count for something.

Bob Hoskins would be pretty good, but I actually think Williams has more of a "Penguin-face", then Hoskins. Just look at his nose, he has The Penguin nose!:oldrazz:

I heard that Nolan and Williams didn't get along very well on the set of Insomnia. I'm not sure if it's true or not...

I would like to see...

whoever Nolan thinks is best for his movies!

Robin Williams as Ventriloquist=Gold. And if they get Al Pacino as the voice of the puppet...

Really? I hadn't thought of that. I was just trying to be funny with the Pacino thing, because of that movie he was in, i think.

What movie?

Edit: Oh Scarface. Of course. Duh!

Clayface. A serial killer who wears different masks and utilities scary voices.

My first pick for Joker back in those days was Willem Dafoe.
