He has quicksilver and nighcrawler to work with so he has a lot on his plate in terms of trying to top previous action sequences

Do you think they could get away with teleporting someones head off of their body like the AOA nightcrawler can or would it be too graphic?

I wouldn't say hell of a run, aside from Stewart/McKellan/Jackman of course. The stench of X-3 will always remain. Something to remember, had Singer been able to make his X3/X4, would we have ever gotten this trilogy? A prequel perhaps, but a story like DoFP could have easily been bypassed for sometime. One things for certain, this young cast has big shoes to fill, and we don't know what the long term strategy is for this franchise aside from some spinoffs.

Who cares the past is over X-Men: First Class Continuity for 15+ years!!

True, CB fans would be extremely lucky to enjoy a seemless continuity for a Harry Potter or Fast & Furious type length.

The casting of young nightcrawler and fact they seem to be totally redesigning everything from scratch just further says trilogy and first 2 wolverine films has been erased.Basicly any character not in future ending of DOFP is fair game for Apocalypse,it's sequels and spin-offs set In past.Kingberg and his well some events from previous films could still happen is complete BS.It shouldn't even bother people with this if angel is In Apocalypse.However i still think Wolverine Is most likely as main horseman with rest mostly silent characters.

Now this doesn't mean there isn't a place for orignal actors.Hugh jackman
Isn't going anywhere yet.He didn't deny Patrick Stewart's comments about being in Wolverine solo film.Ian Mckellen is likely going to cameo In Apocalypse based on Stewart's comments.It's certinly possibly Anna Paquin could return for wolverine solo especilly since at one time they were talking about including her in now erased from contunity The Wolverine.And there is always possiblty the mystery 2018 film involves members of original cast.

And if concept art Is indeed ship then odds go up for X-Men/FF crossover film to be mystery 2018 film.Bringing in ailen elements In Apocalypse will help X-Men and FF fuse more together.

I feel like Doom/Magneto should team up against the X-Men n Fantastic Four. They are the top two Marvel villains afterall.

FF/Xmen expedition into the Savage Land for a sequel. Find a crashlanded Silver Surfer

Galactus or Super Skrull led Skrull Invasion for part three.

Do we really have to speculate on a crossover that no one to date has confirmed is contractually or legally possible?

Totally forgot about that. Azazel was killed off in the 60's. We know she was having an affair with Magneto before Magneto was framed for JFK. This was all 1963. It's possible she could have had a fling with Azazel, but a pregnancy is never hinted at. How could she have been pregnant when she was preparing and training to kill Trask? It is just another continuity blunder waiting to happen.

I hope it doesn't start the whole people questioning if hank or magneto are nightcrawlers father because that would be an even bigger oddity

Nightcrawler resembles azazel in every way (apart from being blue) aswell as having the same power display so it makes most sense he would be the father, otherwise nightcrawler just happens to resemble him and just happens to have the same power display for absolutely no reason

all that kinberg had to say on the matter was

Deadpool wasn't included in the original Fox deal. He's crossed over already. Non Fox fans are saying no to FF and X-Men deal because they know Fox can kill the super hero game with this awesome crossover. 3 Top 5 Marvel Villains. 4 Top 5 Marvel Female Heroes. Fox is competition

Honestly if it were just Doctor Doom vs. the X-Men, I'd be fine with that. He's that badass. Heck the only reason why I MIGHT want the FF rights to go back to Marvel would be to see Doom vs. The Avengers.

I heard some come up with the idea why not show a flashback with azazel (cameo) and mystique to explain the point when she gave him up

whether there would be any room for that sorta flashback in the story who knows, they found ways to do it in DOFP

It doesn't have to take up a ton of screentime. Just an acknowledgment of it. X2 left things ambiguous, and I'd like to see it cleared up one way or another.

I honestly feel the Mystique connection is the main reason Charles and Hank go looking for Kurt.

With the Jennifer Lawrence version of mystique they would have to have a less cruel way of her abanding kurt as baby.

If fox wants to do a big epic X-Men/FF film I would suggest a page out of heroes reborn and do story that Involves both X-Men and FF with SIlver surfer and galactus arrival on
Earth.Ship possibly being In Apocalypse opens ailen elements in films.

You could have both FF and X-Men investigate.Eventully team up and maybe have someone like Storm convince the surfer to turn on galactus after fighting both teams.

That's right, the assassination was 1973, but we know she was with Magneto in 1662/1963, so she must have made her way around the block. Probably could have transformed into anybody and slept with Azazel in that time before he was killed himself. Azazel had to have been killed by Kennedy because Magneto was already aware of it after he was rescued.

Hopefully not. Nightcrawler shouldn't be someone who cuts himself every time he sins. It's that kind of thing why I hate his character in X2.
