I think it will be more or less like this:

Jean Grey: 22 min
Charles X: 20 min
Magneto: 18 min
Mystique: 17 min
Cyclops: 15 min
Chastain: 12 min
Beast: 8 min
Storm: 7 min
Nightcrawler: 6 min
Quicksilver: 6 min
Lamar: 3 min
Dazzler: 1 min
Psylocke: 45 sec

what were you expecing? 40 min for Mystique?
hell no, lol.

In any case, would be interesting to save my post and compare it with the real data at the end of the year

I wouldn't be surprised if this drama film turned out to be a cheesefest.

Storm with 7 minutes?
it would be more than she did in apocalypse and DOFP
but I think she will have a little more than that, apparently she recorded for many days, her duble just went away one day before the end of the recordings
We have to take into account that wolverine will not be in this movie, so he'll have to give more space to the cast and villain.
so I expect storm and cyclop with a longer screen time

I'd suggest not overthinking it.

It has drama well... so does every superhero film. Well it's "more" of a drama. So was Dark Knight and Logan. Means nothing except they are implying the film will be "more" serious and there won't be any way to tell by how much until the film is released.
i think the way Dark Pheonix is going to differentiate itself from those movies is by being a dramatic soap opera more than anything.

and I do not think mystique will have too much screen time
I think that her participation in this film is only limited to the beginning (trip to space and some action scene that leads to its possible death)
it's psylocke
I'm almost sure, that will only appear in the final battle of the film, to help the x-men

They've got to be careful not to make the film dull and with a saggy middle.

DoFP had a long section where nothing happened and i remember a group of young men in the cinema yawning loudly. The pacing was a bit off.

X:A had more going on but some of it was not so good - namely the Quicksilver mansion rescue (an OTT comedy moment as Havok was incinerated); the Wolverine stuff at Alkali Lake (it felt badly filmed with Logan's wirework pouncing, silly hair and amusing scurrying off into the woods); Magneto hovering in a magnetic bubble near the end; and poorly edited action scenes (Pyslocke's sword - now you see, it, now you don't, now you see it again)...

The shots of the flying shipping containers and the ship being yanked from the ocean floor felt unnecessary (I'd rather Storm's dialogue been kept in) but they were clearly created as the film was in production and just slotted into the movie during post. Too wasteful to ditch those expensive CGI scenes that had already been completed so Storm's motivation explanation was cut instead. WTF.

LOL I agree there was a bit of a lull in DOFP. My mom got bored at some point too. X2 was better paced, maybe because there were different plot strands (Wolverine with the kids, Jean and Storm on their mission, Xavier and Scott visiting Magneto and then getting tortured) which kept the film energetic, whereas in DOFP we're only following the main four + Mystique sneaking around.

I think they should be careful about the way they're selling this movie as "revolutionary". Logan and Deadpool certainly were game changers but they didn't really have that ambitious. Their success came out naturally from the stories the filmmakers were passionate to tell.

Ms Kinberg, calm your p**** down, gurl. :p

That doesn't mean anything. I mean, Shipp probably shot for several days in XMA because Storm does have a lot of screentime, but she's just a background character.

We want Storm to have a relevant role and to be treated as a real character at least.

We have to take into account that wolverine will not be in this movie, so he'll have to give more space to the cast and villain.

That doesn't mean anything either. Logan had only a few minutes of screentime in Apocalypse. I mean, we still have the massive stars to worry about: JLaw, Fassbender and McAvoy. Chastain will be joining the group too.

I hope "drama" means "soap opera" :D

I'd love to see them embracing the soap opera part of the X-Men one day.

You keep posting that J-Law gif.

Why not actually give a proper opinion on who you think will get the main focus in this film - and why.

Then we'd have something to discuss.

Telling people how to respond? There are a million snarky inconsequential things replied to me and others (literally look at the last things I posted here and the responses). Why is a benign gif really all that different?

I feel like Sophie will be the one bringing the most drama, I've sen how intense Tye can be. Kinda excited to see what they got.

With that talk of "more of a drama than superhero film" I wonder what the budget for this thing is. After Apocalypse I can't imagine the usually cheap Fox spending much on this.

Even the most drawn out Claremont X-books were never as dull as some of Singer's stuff. At least get some snappier dialogue, ****.

word from a magazine or something was that Kinberg even got a pay cut as director, so that should give you a clue

I've said it once I've said it a thousand times, that's messed up LOL

Also, "Strom."

Jeremy Conrad (who was posting about Deadpool) said DP is having a test screening this week & previous reaction was great.

So do you believe him or Steven Weintraub? And I wonder if there's any validity to Weintraub being a studio shill, I certainly hope not.

That ManaByte dude took a shot at Rob Liefeld too! He's fearless.

Neither Conrad or Weintraub have seen Deadpool 2 or Dark Phoenix test screenings, so it's all ''my sources said'' at this point.

When does everyone think the first teaser will be released? Attached to Infinity War? Or do you think they'll show it at CinemaCon then wait for Deadpool 2?

20th Century Fox have a presentation at CinemaCon on Thursday 26th April for their future projects so that seems most likely.

I doubt we'll get it that day, but probably online before Deadpool 2 on May 18th.
