Xmenfilms, that is a very respectful, honest and legit person, and has had Fox connection, is adressing once again the leak IS true. His friend saw the screening, he revealed this by pm to dif people. His friend hated the movie, he's tired of the franchise or so, so I dont know what more do some users need.

Leak is true guys. There are other sources not reported publicly that have adressed some plot points by pms too. Movie is decent, but not great, and with a lot of characters wasted once again, and yeah, including Storm once again. (No real surprise. Kinberg doesnt care about minority characters) and Cyclops doesnt have that big of a role, good but 'deserved better'

That doesn't mean anything. According to others who had sources that saw the test screening, there are some very significant differences from what's described in the reddit leak. Now, either there was more than one test screening and people saw different things....or none of the sources are reliable at this point. The one main connecting factor in all this is none of these people putting out the information saw the screening themselves. They are all relying on "sources" or "other people they know" with each claiming their own sources to be reliable.

Well, Manabyte responded on another forum about the reddit leaker (the leaker's Dark Phoenix plot spoiler reddit post was directed at Manabyte):

Atlanta Filming is a Twitter account who takes blurry set photos and sells them to sites. His ego went out of control after he sold the Avengers 4 pictures.

He's also insane.

Over the weekend he's been going on crusade on Reddit to try to discredit bloggers.

They've been sending fake stuff to the Reddit mods to do this, such as this fake photoshop they did to go after Umberto. He sent a modmail to the Reddit mods on the weekend urging them to SHUT DOWN THE SUBREDDIT unless he sends them scoops. He tried to prove himself with a "New Gods" scoop he just copied and pasted from Wikipedia.

It's the internet. This has been happening for years on the internet with many movies. And that's not studios focus to shoot down every rumor that pops up. Studios release their info on a set timetable. It's more logical for people to stop accepting rumors and speculation as fact. Everybody remember that plot leak info for X-men Apocalypse which circulated on reddit that turned out to be vastly different from the actual film? Because of that, I've learned to wait until the actual movie releases.

Atlanta Filming? Really lol? I used to follow that guy during Homecoming's production. He has become a bit too big on himself for my taste, which is why I moved on from him and his ego. All these bloggers and fake insiders need to get a grip. Deadpool 2 was an apparent disaster that was wasting money on re-shoots and be lucky to score 60%.

I've never understood the concept of hoping a movie will fail. Especially if you love the characters. I'm hoping for a great movie. Wish more X-Men fans felt that way. Even if it's not your studio of choice.

I ****ing hate Warner Brothers right now, but I continue to hope for a great DC film in that Universe because I love those characters in any quality interpretation I can get them .

I think this leaker has been collecting information that had been put up on the internet. Some of what he claimed regarding the UN battle was put up on a site with a page dating way back in October of last year.

-They said a source told them scenes were shot that relied on the presence of aliens who they claimed were skrulls. Yet they said, according to their source, the actors wore motion capture suits. There were no visual effects put in place to indicate what aliens they were actually playing (they later stated because of that, these scenes could be a misdirect or placeholder). They also never stated Jessica Chastain was playing a skrull, merely that it was a "possibility" and then went on to speculate it was Skrull queen Veranke.

-They claimed there was a surprise attack on a political event involving scenes in and around a UN building that is hosting some discussion of mutants with different groups of protests for and against them:

They never said this was a final battle scene.

-So this rumor had already been up on the internet since last year apparently, but it was on a Portuguese site. They were simply funneled this information by a "source" and then went on to say they would have to wait for official information to see how it all turned out. In one article they stated outright: "**The studio did not comment on the matter, so treat it all as a rumor**"

Hoping is different from Xpecting. I Xpect this movie to fail because of Kinberg, and we know how misguided X3, F4 and A were and he was involved with the scripts for those films. I am not hoping it fail as I at least want to see a good movie since I'm paying a ticket for it and I don't want Fox to further damage the property.

Anyway, all this lashing is coming from the love of the property and Fox in my opinion, didn't do their best when they hired someone like Kinberg to write again and direct. The X-Men deserves better.
