if the idea of them is this, I enter the team that prefers then to be archived and pretend that it never existed.

new mutants would make total sense, because then they could make it an "original production" of the platform and create sequels.

Marvel isnt going to want to do sequels with the New Mutants. They'll let this creation die

Dark Phoenix is still getting released. It would be crazy not to at this point. They are going to shelve a 150 million film just to be pity.I think it will be the end of the Fox X-men film which hopefully will go out on a high note. Entertainment Weekly had said earlier that it would take two years for Disney to take over Fox. Just because the board agrees to it, it takes a while for everything to transfer over. There are plenty of examples of how slow the process can be in.

For certain elements, that is true. However, as the rights are sliding over under Marvel Studios, the effect will pretty much be immediate. Fox will just stop making Marvel films.

I think that is true for films haven't started. But Dark Phoenix is pretty much done and is getting released at this point. And I also think Deadpool films with Reynolds will continue, they are critical and financial successes why would Disney stop them?

The only films that will continue in any respect are Dark Phoenix and New Mutants. They'll be put out in some form or another. Everything else we can expect the plug to be pulled.

DP will transition over, but seeing as he just had a film put out there is no rush. That team will move over, but the rest of Fox won't be involved anymore.

Bob Iger specifically spoke to all this some months ago. X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool he said are all coming to the MCU.

Deadpool doesn't work as PG-13 ,and Bob Iger already said that they will continue making R rated Marvel films like Deadpool.

It will be years before they make their own X-Men films at this point. So don't think it will tarnish it any. I am very confident it won't get cancelled.

I think first they will introduce a character into some movie, I believe storm or wolverine, and then they will start talking about the mutants, so dark phoenix does not hinder the plans at all, they will have plenty to do before making a movie about jean.

I doubt very much Feige and company are going to delve back into the Dark Phoenix story any time soon. The "Female superhero gains incredible powers but - unlike her male counterparts - can't control them!" story was done in the comics at least twice. But it probably should be put to rest after the finale of the Fox-Verse.

good point. Just put more focus on Rogue this time around, and keep Jean as a good supporting X-Men, a core X-Men if you want, but its time for Rogue to be huge. Marvel knows how big she can be, Im sure they wont waste any time once they present her.

Dark Phoenix for sure. I'm less convinced about New Mutants.

if Gambit, for some magical reason, starts filming this year, it will see the light, if not, then yeah, totally scrapped.
