Let me break it down for you since you seem to be struggling with this. There were test screenings in different months. That means.....MORE.....THAN....ONE. Say it again with me, more.....than.....uno. Now, stay with me. You'll get it. That.....is....not....called......an.....excuse. It's called.....A......FACT. Did you comprehend? I am stating....a fact! Test screening a movie more than once means there are changes, a different cut of the film tested for audiences to see which one they respond to best. Hope that was an educational moment for you.

It gets even more weird when you realize that Groot said more words (I, we, am, are, Groot) in GoTG than Storm and Colossus combined in DoFP who said "Hi, Bob" and "Mystique".

geez, that's nearly 20 years of X-Men and less than 10 years of Guardians.

I hope they get the lines and characterization down right for X-Men this time. And please also explore the mutant abilities a bit. Professor X and Emma Frost can do soooo much more than what Fox did with the psychics. I am sorry to say it was getting kinda telepathetic.

The way Charles does his telepathic briefings and Emma Frost violates others' mental privacy, her ability to mentally link the team and have them say completely different things to what they are actually mentally plotting as a team, the mind control, mind games, the astral plane. And then all the funny humor that has probably been seen in the comics and even explored outside of the comics:

And then you have Psylocke who's just a total badass and choses to engage in physical combat rather than mental combat? These characters get pretty complex.

Yeah, I've been around since before this place was SHH. I've seen quite a few generations of posters come and go. Just because I don't have the time that I used to spend on these boards or reading all this information in general suddenly makes me a "random", it just reminds me why so many people HAVE left these boards. Those are truly sad numbers for Storm and Cyclops. I wonder if there's a similar comparison chart for speaking lines for the various characters. To think Mystique was a silent but deadly character in the OT films, only to be turned into a chatterbox of a lead in the FC films. More importantly one of the main reasons she was turned into an FC character was because of Rebecca Romijn-Stamos' excellent performance.

It's punishment. Punishment for not putting her foot down and refusing to utter that abomination of a lightning/toad line in the original X-MEN. Storm is basically the X-MEN's dog that keeps ****ting on the floor, and they keep rubbing her nose in it, but she just keeps right on ****ting...

Halle Storm should have been in Logan. I just recently watched an interview of Hugh and he was asked if he could include one of the cast members from the previous films who would it be, and he quickly said Halle. Caliban was a random choice to accompany Logan/Xavier.

Caliban was a weird choice. It really highlights Fox's sloppy co-ordination of the X-movies in contrast next to Apocalype's Caliban. Stephen Merchant was great in the role though.

Halle as Storm would have been a good choice as a cameo. It would have been interesting imo for her to be introduced later and have her relay the truth of how the X-men died since Logan didn't want to and Xavier wasn't able to.

Most of his interviews always were between Halle or Famke. Like he didnt give a damm about the rest of the X-Men.

Saying 'I would have loved to share some scenes with Jimmy' or Ellen would have been a real surprise to me and considerate from him.

But Hugh is not that much different from Fox execs

I just don't see them promoting Sophie Turner as the star or leading lady. But they might, I don't know for certain.

If they don't promote Turner then they can't promote the Phoenix. they come hand in hand.

Judging by the official infos we have, it's seems that's the case: Charles, Eric, Raven and Jean will get the big roles.

A previous reddit post said Xavier,Cyclops and beast had the most screentime in the story next to Jean. fassbender was felt to be wasted in the film in that persons opinion. Raven had decent enough screentime for a couple of weeks filming.

Although if we assume fassbender and lawrence should have cameos then we are being unrealistic. if we assume that cyclops can have a big role but he needs a much bigger then that role and then we can move on to storm who has to have an extra HUGE role and then move on to the next... well you get the point. everyone has their own opinion on how this stuff works i guess.

We have to remember Fassbender and J-Law were brought back in new contracts at great expense so they must factor heavily into the story.

Robert Downey Jr made $10 million for his role in Spider-man homecoming and he actually wasn't in it that much.

The only evolution from the focus on the main characters of the First Class series will be putting Jean at the heart of the story. Not sure if she will be the lead character though, despite the film being called Dark Phoenix.

You are abit over dramatic at times.
