it's a good trailer
it just annoys me a bit that the movie has aliens and this was basically forgotten in every trailer
only those who accompany news about the film know that there are aliens in it

I prefer the last international trailer. This trailer is not going to wow general audiences too much unfortunately, just hope that the shots theyve held back on will be impressive in the final movie.

This. Ive been eagerly awaiting to see the aliens design for months now and to date not one still or artwork or anything. I wouldnt be surprised if theyve been cut out completely and the end is just Xmen vs Jessica Chastain and Phoenix

I get the sense they really wanna sell this movie to the audience as a personal story about jean. jean is very much the focus in the trailers. its not about aliens. its less about the action which they seem to be holding back on showing unless its certain special events.

Yeah I like the international trailer best, but this one is still good! I’m still really not feeling the Phoenix effect. Kinda annoyed they went with this look when they initially had it right in the first trailer

I watched the one on 20thcenturyfox youtube channel. I googled it and it was the first that popped up ?

the trailer is good
apparently they do not want to show more of the movie
but why not quickly display the aliens in their actual form?
the chastain character is still unexplained, it bothers me, give her a name, show her in some action scene. people like to see the villain in action

Dude.... the CGI... is phantastic. Seems that Kinberg told the truth, they want be the next oscar contender for best visual effects!

The shot of Jean in the forest is dope. That one along with her grabbing that dude's head.
Music sounds epic.

Wish we would've gotten more of a tease of Chastain but...oh well

This is not only the second time they’re attempting this story, but the second time they make her look NOTHING like the Phoenix, after having the previous film beautifully set up a comic accuracy effect. Like, X3 was the hideous black veins and dark eyes, now its this weird effect. Why can’t we get flames?

Kinberg was asked by folks at Disney to re-render & change the look of the Phoenix effect (likely so they could use it later in the MCU). It looked more like flames earlier on.

The pink energy is Jean's power without Phoenix. If you read comics then the answer is obvious. Kinberg apparently knows more about X-Men comics...

Her abilities are exceeding her physical growth, what with activating prematurely, and as such she's transforming into pure psionic energy to handle the boost without burning her physical body out. So when she goes all pink like that, she's just drawing on her full current might.

In many ways the Pink form is a Phoenix replacement, just without the cosmic baggage or the interpretation that it is a separate force/entity/being. It allows her to power/level up to or near her foe's power-level, she draws on the psychic energy of others (similar to how the Phoenix Force has been said to draw from the psychic energy of every living being and/or future unborn), and it has allowed her to become a being of pure psionic energy and reconstitute herself (this parallels the original explanation for Phoenix given in UXM 125) when she beat the Poisons and effectively resurrected herself. She has also used it as a power/threat/dominance display similar to how she has used the phoenix raptor before.

Yes but considering it's about Dark Phoenix.. let's hope we get some orange flames by the end of the movie.
