The pink energy is Jean's power without Phoenix. If you read comics then the answer is obvious. Kinberg apparently knows more about X-Men comics...

but it’s being depicted as the opposite in the film?...the pink energy is the cosmic force that takes over her.

I'm in the minority, I've liked all of the trailers for the movie so far, but I was really expecting the Phoenix raptor for the final trailer... I'm just gonna asume it's not gonna happen and move on with my life.

they had such an amazing/beloved comic arc, with plenty of dope visuals, aesthetics, outfits and sets...... but we end with.................... this.

There is only one word that comes to mind after watching these trailers (in 2019): cheap.

cheap and heavily uninspired. all the shots of the final battle look really poor and anti-epic. that set, that look so similar to Alcatraz (a cheap set built for the x-men to fight with someone, far away from the actual city, citizens and the like, u know.... a really epic battle). This trailer doesnt give me "epic movie", this gives me "cheaper budget cbm". (unlike Avengers, Aquaman, Panther, Avatar and the like).

The space mission scenes look pretty good, but then its like they ran out of money for sets and costumes half way thru

I remember back in 2005 getting soooo excited with the idea of Phoenix saga being adapted, to see Jean in fulll Phoenix mode, flying in the sky and all, but it didnt happen. Then this was announced in 2017, and now we arent getting it either.

I would literally slap Kinberg in the face if I had the chance.

This is most definitely not a Final Trailer, the TV spot from last week was more exciting, the trailer music is uninspired, this is just a terrible publicity strategy, even the hardcore forum seeking fans are unimpressed, I can't even imagine a casual moviegoer's opinion about this, cause you can cr*p all you want about X3 (lord knows I do) but the marketing was flawless, the trailers were amazing, the tv spots...

I think since the world pretty much knows this is the last movie from the FOX era and all that, Disney should go nuclear and just release the first 7 minutes of the movie online, apparently everyone who has seen the first sequence loves it, I say do it, cause this just can't be the thing that's gonna send people running to theaters.

I'm really glad that they are still holding back showing more of the film. We should not see her on her true form until the film.

CGI looks bad here

If you pause just as this shot starts it looks like she is landing (from flying) and i think you gets glimpse of her in her fire form. You can see flames and Hair up

Sort of like Johnny Storm landing and turning back from fire to human form.
