I said the same thing, great shot..along with the cracks in her skin. I don't think we have anything to worry about when it comes to the visuals in Dark Phoenix.

Hesitating whether I should see this in cinemas or not. Almost nothing about it gets me hyped...

And considering Godzilla will be released before it and MIB: International after it, I might save my money for these 2.

Lastly, I can barely get excited for anything after 4 viewings of EG

It would come out in digital HD 2 1/2 months after its theaterical release. So I guess I just wait for that one, if you want to see it in a theater.

The setting of that scene looks ****. They could have filmed it somewhere nicer.

I am wondering if Magneto will be bad again this time, after turning bad at the end of FC, than ok-ish in the end of DOFP, than good the end of Apocalypse (despite just having killed millions and Charles treating him as "old friend") and coming at peace with him

I just remember aquaman using similar effects, and there some things bothered me.

Yeah, I agree. It is great that the film makers have learnt from the past errors. This movie is shaping up to be good.

here in brazil they did it a few days ago for some journalists, they showed 30 minutes of the film and it was praised

This virgin directorial debut will put Marvel under immense pressure to accrue his talents for his skilled oversight, expert production craftsmanship and visionary style. They will need him to successfully herald in a successful X-men franchise into the MCU so it remains grounded, tense and not stupid and jokey like the traditional MCU trope of serious moments ruined by punctuated staccato jokes. this looks so cheap. in a time where thanos is literally showing pulling stars and planets , we have magneto in a cheap set making a helicopter fly? really?

yo this looks so bad i doubt anyone would even go and see it.
and wheres the flow in the clip? it looks so poorly edited.

theyve literally shown at least 45 mintues through thrse 164 trailers and tv spots.

Isn't that usually how it works? Dark Phoenix is not the first movie ever yno.

As for screenings... well i am sure it would be worse if they were hiding the movie in any regard don't you think? even worse if the footage shown was getting a bad response.

MiB International is meant to be incredibly bad per test screenings... so it wouldn't be much of a difference from Dark Phoenix
Godzilla should be incredible though. Shame the tracking is so low.
