Is this still being released as Dark Phoenix in the US? In the UK, it seems to be marketed as X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Complaining about a female empowerment message in X-Men of all things

Im complaining about forced female empowerment. Theres a difference. That new batwoman trailer is a good example.

Fortunately we wont get any of that bs in dark phoenix i know because Fox do not push sjw agendas like that. Lines like "are you a scared little girl who answers to a man in a chair" is fine. But if they made it out to be patronisingly man bashing with batwoman type dialogue then it would be very distracting.

My hype for this movie really fluctuates day by day! I minute i’m Disappointed that their are no “real” aliens in the movie, the next minute i’m Infatuated with the cinematography ( just from the space mission and Dazzer scenes).

For whatever it's worth, it is nice to see Sophie Turner go all-in on being proud about being front and center as an X-Men star. Honestly, I think JLaw hurt the franchise in the long run by just acting like she was slumming it for the last 3 of the 4 she appeared in--which is a shame because I did like her even in DOFP. I think it's a big difference between that and how Jackman was always happy to be the face of the X-franchise in his films and a reason why he is so beloved in the role. The other is because he was an amazing Wolverine, granted.

I don’t understand this comment. I would love to accept such praise and be even a quarter as talented as Kinberg. He is an invigorating breath of vibrant thrusting fresh air into this already well-crafted universe

I think people are afraid of what Kinberg will pull off. People fear him when there is no need. He wants to entertain you and he wants his film to be loved and him to be loved too. His aesthetic is already quite masterful and which plays right against the strange misperceptions people have of this film. Let his juices flow and let them embellish the franchise with one final incredible punch and let them wash over you too. He has been the caretaker and captain of this successful franchise for so long. He gave it such life and has been managing all production aspects so judiciously and thoroughly. X-men is his passion; why would you folks think he will make a mistake?

He also tried his best to fix Fan4istic which wasn’t his fault and also made New Mutants much better than it was. So much so that the film will receive theatrical release. Dark Phoenix is poised to rock the BO with over $50 Million!!! People once they see the film will want to see it again and again which will lead to more weekends of $50 million. It will happenX.

Kinberg’s technique is to be cutting edge, state of the art with marked precision and carry a unique depth of flavor. It might scare those who are afraid but embrace him; learn to love him and his method. it will strike this film to a clear 85+ on rottentomatoes. I for one wait with searing hot anticipation of the uniquely crafted prize of Dark Phoenix!

Love the reactions. If this can be just a decent movie and enough for me to enjoy then I’m happy. So far it’s looking ok. Some things annoy me but I already feel like this looks much better and more solid compared to Apocalypse.
