I agree. Also fox employees aren’t exactly going to blast their own company’s product.
Mystique during the Statue of Liberty scene in X1 LOL stabbed in the same spot Wolverine stabs Dark Phoenix in X3.Instantly!
And don't forget that mutants with less power had survived his attacks. Even regular humans had survived being stabbed.
Hell in the real world, normal every day people survive a multiple stabbing attack...
But no, yeah, that was a fantastic scene. Mmm hmm![]()
I’m trying to do some detective work into the potential screening, but I know that ninja jelly is in some theatre so maybe she is viewing the screening too? She was on set and is friends with Kinberg. Not normally, but I bet potentially 4000 of them could do soon.![]()

Probably explains why Kinberg and Jessica Chastain are in Nee York together? (His Instagram).
I’m confused as to what involvement Lauren actually has. Growing up watching the films I saw her name everywhere and she was featured in a lot of interviews. But in recent years she’s not so much of a prominent figure in the franchise.obviously most will be careful, but I can guarantee you that some people working at Fox arent always pleased with what they do. Hell, Im 100% sure even Lauren isnt happy with many decisions the other producers have made, including you know who.
I'll give u a clue:I’m confused as to what involvement Lauren actually has. Growing up watching the films I saw her name everywhere and she was featured in a lot of interviews. But in recent years she’s not so much of a prominent figure in the franchise.
Exactly¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This guy has been a common writer producer on the franchise for a while but all those feats are a due to a compilation of artists. I feel recently he’s been given the ‘Kevin Fiege’ title of x men without actually earning that title.I'll give u a clue:
Simon Kinberg
lets say that she was sidelined to tv.This guy has been a common writer producer on the franchise for a while but all those feats are a due to a compilation of artists. I feel recently he’s been given the ‘Kevin Fiege’ title of x men without actually earning that title.
But I still don’t know where Lauren Donner disappeared to, did she just give it all up to Simon?
He is probably a good producer. That doesn’t correlate to being a good director or writer though. I’ve noticed in all his interviews he uses key words and name drops popular films. He compares his films to the recent heights of superhero cinema: Logan and Thor: ragnorok. I’m not blasting the guy, I hope the film is good, but I listen to a director talk about ‘tone’ and nothing else so much.lets say that she was sidelined to tv.
She was the key produder of the franchise since day 1, but once Kinberg entered the scene, specially since FC, and after Dofp, she suddenly dissapeared from promotion, Singer after directing Dofp, directed The gifted pilot, lauren too, and suddenly Kinberg was the only one to say on the movie side, and not only that, but as a director too. Fox basically put all its trust on him. None of us will ever know how Kinberg convinced Fox to let them be their "Feige"

I don't think simon kinberg is trying to be kevin fiege. most of the decisions seem to go straight to fox and they give it the yes or no.
The only reason people think Simon is the Kevin Fiege is because everyone seems to be expecting someone to be the Kevin Feige of the X-verse or the DC-verse
She is producing Legion and The Gifted. so she is more on the TV side of things.
But i also dunno what impact she has had on any of the movies since she has been there since the start
Alot of directors do that. they take inspiration from other movies.
Problem is people take that stuff to literally sometimes.
So when Disney takes over or reboots the x-men movies there aren’t going to be any more complaints righhhhhhtttt???????
Most of us here are fans of the X-Men. Whichever studio takes them on, we want them done properly. If the MCU messes up, there will be criticism too...
Yeah, and this doesn't really need to be explained. Of course people are going to complain when they don't like things regardless of who's behind it. And guess what, the complaints go on hold when films like X2, DoFP, Deadpool and Logan come out. Most of us here are fans of the X-Men. Whichever studio takes them on, we want them done properly. If the MCU messes up, there will be criticism too...
Fox has been inconsistent... with some poor world-building and continuity, and has failed to take advantage of all it has got. Especially considering it has had the keys to the entire X-Men world without needing to take any Avengers characters into account.
