So, are we getting a new trailer the 28 or not? At this point if the movie flops is gonna be 100% Fox fault, they are practically hiding the movie, i dont see the logic in the lack of promotion.

Dark Phoenix would've come out tomorrow.
The weekend projections are starting to come out. Dark Phoenix's replacement, Alita: Battle Angel is projected to debut in THIRD place. After the second weekend of Lego Movie 2, and a sequel to a horror movie. At least there's good news, Alita will beat out a Rebel Wilson Rom-Com...

Clearly Dark Phoenix wasn't ready for this date if they are still testing it and they haven't even released a trailer with much vfx. Alita looks fun as hell and I've only heard good things so far. It's a shame it's flopping because the more of these high concept big budget Scifi movies that flop, the less we'll get.

Probably would have underperformed just like Alita, especially with those bad reviews floating online. It would have underperformed more than the Lego Movie 2: The Second Chapter.

I think that user is in fact Channing Tatum, and is trying to create hype with Gambit movie, posting comments on different topics and sections.
Maybe Fox told him "there isnt hype with your passion project, Chan. If you dont find a way to excite the audience, there isnt much we can do". So Chan decided to jump on comic boards to see if he would get us excited

maybe he should tweet or post something on instagram with #Darkphoenix hastag, making sites and fans believe he will debut in Dark phoenix leading to his solo movie in the next year

Do you think Dark Phoenix will have a post-credit scene(s)?

In today's CBM climate they are almost expected and usually set up a tease for the next film. So I expect it would have orginally considering this was going to be a triology.

Kinberg has said this film does stand on its own (which I'm guessing means there isn't cliffhanger and there is a resolution to the story).

With that in mind do you think they may remove the post credits scene (removing the tease) or replace it with a new "non tease" scene (I could imagine them somehow getting Jackman back to close the series; showing him jointing the xmen in the new timeline)

Kinberg probably won't have a post-credit scene. In his own words this is the most "unique" entry in the X-men filmverse and it is also So. Very. Grounded. A post-credit scene would just drag his work down.

Jackman has already had a curtain-call for his Wolverine, and he's said as much. He's done with the character and this universe. I doubt very much he would don the claws for this movie, never mind for a scene that would add nothing to proceedings. And after FC and Apocalypse, there's simply nothing "unique" about a Wolverine cameo.

another after credits scene involving Wolverine would just be the ultimate sign of Fox running out of ideas. Tho its not like they ever cared about any other x-men outside of him, so would be the most foxish way to end their universe forever, with Wolverine.

No I don’t think there would be a post credit scene unless the XCU gets used in the MCU (which isn’t happening) but a cool way to have them join would be dr strange or someone

I agree it's safer to not have a post-credit scene. Fox knows anything could happen. I mean, the Sinister tease wen't nowhere, didn't it?

And God knows, if Kinberg actually plans to continue whats being teased in the post credit scene back when the Disney merger wasn't a thing yet. Thing is with a lot of these X-Men films, they tease one thing only for that thing, to be not completely used in the neXt film.

He actually said that is specifically not happening! Not sure if there was an “anymore” he left out though. There’s just a slight stinger in the last frame, but I’m a frame that’s a cityscape with a whole lotta sky, in a movie named after a mythological bird, it’s obvious.

I just don't think she fully gets the potential of the X-Men with so many characters wasted. Maybe she does but I guess the other crew members always get their way. But still. I feel like with another producer/s, they would have fought more for their ideas but LSd always get overpowered by foX or someone else. So can't wait for a new start.
