Why is this production sending out muddied VF/X screenshots as promo?

are those outfits/costume supposed to excite those who attend the convention?
because they look really horrible without the actors and movie lighting and all. yiiiikes. It really feels from a very low budget movie/show.

They don't look all that fantastic there, do they! :funny: I'm hoping that when worn and in movement they look better (Jean's coat looks good though).

Must admit I'd love the action figures and rucksack. Where are those from?
My summer will be spent scouring ebay for some of this stuff. I love it.

I don't recall the opinions here, but I personally like that Morrison era uniform, so I'm glad to see it. Not just for the film, but the era of the books as well, but again, I loved everything Morrison.

Rewatched the X-Men Dark Phoenix legacy trailer in IMAX. I did find it funny that The Last Stand was the only film that was omitted.

how about Origins Wolverine? X3 is not even the worst film in the series so far. Thats Apocalypse.

As for the character posters, I findit jarring that Selene/red Lotus are in the group poster yet they didn't get a solo character poster. I guessthey were added in the group poster to fill up some empty space.

I’m kind of worried how this cosmic looking Phoenix effect will work on screen and on Jean. Idk of the rumor that Feige told Kinberg to drop it because they plan on using the Phoenix in the MCU but I liked the flames on Sophie sad that it had to go.

I really just think it was changing the "flame" colour from orange (traditional flame) to the pink-orange-purple mixture.

The shot force effects when Jean curls up as it enters her is identical with just a change in colour when you compare the first teaser to the newer ones.

The cracked skin and heatwave effect seems to have always been apart of the design and haven't been lost and the recent images of her disintegrating individuals still keeps the idea of burning (compare to the last stand disintegrations).
It even looks like she has purple/pink flames surrounding her.

If anything, I think they would be urged to change the colours in response to Cap Marvels binary effects.
The way the fire/energy moves around her in the scene/images of disnetrgation scene looks similar to the binary effects and would look even more so if it was orange/yellow.

These look good.

Edited out my nitpicks. I don’t want to be accused of being too negative.
The character posters look generic to me, simply because the character posters for this franchise have been so simplistic. Either the character is staring at the camera, or looking somewhere. they lack action and body movement.

I think a Storm poster featuring lighting coming out of her body, full body shot of Cyclops blasting something in the air, Nightcrawler poster featuring teleporting effects, Jean Grey in full Dark PhoeniX mode would have been more animated, stylish, striking and of course more expen$ive for foX.

They had posters like those for Apocalypse but there were production stills turned into posters.

Yeah. Too bad though. It’s one change I could have done without. It certainly does look more cosmic with the purple and orange, and so in that regard it makes sense. But I still think the orange could have popped more. But then there’s no distinguishing it from the normal earthly fire, makes it feel otherworldly. So I like it in that sense, however.

You are totally Right! Im still expecting full dinamic body posters with their name and showing their powers. Its something i always thought it was off everytime, dont know why! Other franchises do it fine. This deserve cool imaginary.

I like this "pink mixed with fire" effect after something different without departing so much from the form of fire.

basically it's like this picture but in the movie it still keeps a little more orange

Every footage show the same things...makes me think. Are they hiding like avengers or they have no more great scenes/scenarios to show. I find it odd! Cause hiding it is not a good ideia! They need to sell the movie, Avengers doesnt!

I saw the trailer on the third biggest screen in the world. Trust me when I say the effects look amazing.
