Embargo dates dont mean that much. Logan and Deadpool 2 lifted a couple of days before release.

Logan review embargo lifted February 18th. The movie was released in March...

In Italy they made screening for critics last week (in Rome, i think) and they made a screening for everyone (limited to 200) yesterday in Milan.

This is interestingly only going in the IMAX auditorium at my local AMC. I honestly prefer the Prime at that particular theater because the screens are close to identical (not a true IMAX from my observations) and the IMAX seats are very narrow. The Prime ones and the reclining seats are much better. But I am thrown off by the fact this has literally no other auditorium other than the IMAX. Talk about low promotion.

What do you mean? They are screening the film for critics and journalists everywhere, have been for at least a week. It premieres on the 7th here, but there's a special screening for contest winners and VIP guests on the 4th.

I mean screening for regular people, not VIP(media) only.
there's none in korea too. (they only did 30m hightlight showcase screening)

Yea the theatre close to me only has the one screening on Thursday at 7pm and nothing else so far for the rest of the weekend. We’re gonna try and watch the movie on Tuesday/half-price day and our only option is at the second closest theatre with the IMAX screens but they’ll only show the movie on PLF screens. Not sure what we’re gonna do yet.

And here I thought Kinberg said he moved this movie to June to secure more theatres/screens. I can’t believe Simon lied! ;(

From Fox’s marketing team, Disney however is a different machine that is heading the remnants of Fox’s marketing team. It’s not as if he’s gone to many press screenings of major films before based on his tweets, he’s typically at public screenings.

This is too low for a superhero movie.

on average these films usually get 4000-4100.
SLOP2 will have 4,400 even with a horrible pre-sale.

That is too low for a Marvel movie, even Fant4stic had 3,995 theater count for its opening weekend.

He is 1000% talking about Dark Phoenix. But I have no idea who this guy is so w/e.

But I'll just keep saying: Having reviews come out THE DAY THE FILM IS RELEASED means they're preparing for a bloodbath.
