I dunno part of me wants to see it in theaters so I get closure with this cast and the other half feels like whats the point with this fox disney merger and the obvious reboot future. I would hope love disney to at the very least retain fassbender and mcavoy but thats wishful thinking

If you have doubts about #DarkPhoenix DON’T! Such a good movie! Everything you love about X-Men movies is still there with more depth in the performances. The fight scenes were crazy!!! Love @SophieT as Jean Grey!!!

Eh, not to be that guy, but pretty much every movie has good Twitter buzz and such. Even the recent Hellboy had a lot of positive tweets! So did TLJ, BvS, SS, etc. That doesn't mean the critics scores and overall reaction will be good.

but I remember a little of the time that the XMA was released and had many critiques in the twiter of people who saw the film before the launch saying that they "expected more", DP apparently is doing better with the public, most comments lead to the same place , which is a good / decent movie and better than XMA at least, and that leaves me a bit relieved.

I'm very optimistic but very cautious. Just like I find it difficult to give weight to the "MCU superfans" (please note I love the MCU) being negative about this films, I'm cautious wil reviews like the German one that seems to be aggressive towards the MCU.

Though, I will say out of the reactions there hasn't been a overtly negative one. So I feel confident that Kinberg has delivered a good film (from a technical standpoint) for being a first time director.

I think everyone expected such a disastrous movie in the face of all the rumors that have been feeding for over a year, it's good to read from people who were expecting a real disaster that this is good and decent.

Here goes a negative spin..i’m Willing to bet that the people tweeting how great dp is ...haven’t even seen the. Movie yet! Lol unfortunately we live in the social media world where people wanna a see a movie fail just cause.. and on the other side of the spectrum people wanna see a movie succeed although they haven’t even seen the movie and don’t even know the quality of the product

Sure hope this can squeeze out good reviews, tho even with RAVE reviews DoFP and Logan still couldn’t reach the box office heights they deserved. So regardless, this’ll probably be forgotten by week 2 like First Class and Apocalypse were.

I don't like this idea. The X-Men franchise needs fresh blood. There are so many other talented/undiscovered actors out there.

So if one negative doesn't happen, least we can hope for another. i see how it works now.

Either way lets hope something hurts this film so we can feel good about it. for some reason.
