Just a wild thought I had. It could be one result of the alterations to the space-time continuum: a 70s/80s team of Jean, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman, and a future team of (for instance) Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Psylocke/Emma, Gambit and Rogue.

It could work...

Yes, that is true. He was the Angel they wanted but I'm not sure whether he dropped out because he preferred the part in Poseidon over the role of Angel, or whether he was signed for both and X3's delayed filming schedule meant he couldn't film both and had to drop out.

Well perhaps they can cast him for something in DoFP.

Far too early for that. They haven't even gathered on set yet. That seems more likely to come when they assemble at Comic Con.

A small role/cameo for Angel would be good for me. Just to tell the audience that after X3, he went on to become 1 of the regular members of the X-Men. Then in the next movie, they could give him a bigger role.

Yeah, think the only remaining X Men were Kitty, Logan, Ororo, Colossos and Rachel.

Other Characters we're around in that universe like Psylocke, Jubille, Scarlet Witch and Emma but I think those stories take place before the main one. Not too sure on that, or if they ended up dying before DOFP takes place. Think Betsy gets taken away to Captain Britain and survives, after shes the Red queen.

So potentially we could be awaiting a casting announcement for Daniel Cudmore, since they're definitely not bringing Rachel into this with both of her parents dead in that timeline and everyone else is already cast.

I would think so as long as it's post X3, no reason not to add him. I guess if it starts as a total Alt Universe they could switch things up. Have him dead and possibly add Rachel. In that case there would be no rules, Cyc and Jean could be back as well. I don't think they will do that though.

If he's in the movie, I don't think Bryan Singer would tweet about his return. And he could just have included his name when he tweeted the return of Shawn, Ellen and Anna.

Daniel Cudmore is included in the cast of the Twilight Saga movies. So he probably appeared in more hit films than the original cast after X3.

But I feel like if they are willing to develop Colossus more, I want them to hire another actor for Colossus. I don't think Daniel Cudmore can really act. And if they move on with the original cast, they gotta need more classic X-Men in the line-up, like him and Angel and those two shouldn't just appear in a couple of scenes or in the background like they did in X3.

What is so bad about this picture is the lighting and it looked a picture from a straight-to-DVD film and it looks so plain.
