Seeing them side by side, yes he's buffer now. Did Snyder think he wasnt buff enough in MoS?

I don't think he's that much bigger… More of the angle I think. The forearms, yeah. But other then that, it's not much.

Once again, the reactions to this prove to me that there is more positive buzz around BvS than trolls like Grace from Beyond the Trailer would have us all believe. Although there are subtle changes to the Superman costume, it's essentially the same suit as we've gotten before... meaning that we're all rejoicing over something we've already seen. And why is that? Because we're really ****ing excited about this movie, and it's going to be HUGE.

You should visit Badass Digest. :o
Can not WAIT to see Wonder Gal!!!

If you work with naturally curly hair, you'd understand more why they do that. :oldrazz:

It's true...if you have a natural curls, it's very hard to control...when people complained about Cavill's hairstyle in MOS, I wanted to cry and say:

Slap some ageing make-up on him and we got ourselves Kingdom Come Superman.

I love how seasoned, confident and powerful he looks in the photo.

I was pretty happy with the MOS suit, so I'm glad to see that they pretty much kept it the same with just a few minor tweaks. Also like the hair and, as some others have said, the fact that he just - in general - looks a lot more mature. And damn he looks FINE!!! :hubba :oldrazz:

Indeed he is. He's awesome :hrt:

Henry looks great, obviously. I mean, it's basically the same suit as in MOS, so any problems I may have had with that one are still present. I just hope that the actual film had a less saturated tone to show off the suit's colors.

Also, WHY NO SPIT CURL?!

Now I am getting greedy. I want a side by side comparison of all the Superman Suits. Starting with B v S and going backwards :woot:

Not many changes in the suit, but from a design perspective i don't quite understand them.

-the square buckle with the S symbol i think it looks off with the rest of the design, and the rectangular finishes in the yellow lines as well, they seem out of place, maybe there is a story decision for this, if not then they seem out of place

-also the straighter lines in the obliques area, they seem off with the rest of the other lines, they break the design way too much. They have less of an organic feel

- The S shield looks really nice, smaller but still noticeable, i really hope we can see the yellow this time

- Something that always bothered me is were the cape is attached to the suit, last time it looked really rubbery . I hope this time around it looks better, cant say from this pic

- the boots look nice, the hand cuffs look better than last time

- I really really would love to see some break in the brief area, that was such a part of Superman's design to break the blue apart, but i don't think we will see that for a long while. Maybe when i have some free time i will do some drawings of what i picture in my head

Overall Henry looks great and the suit looks really nice, some changes for the best and other not so much but still they didn't messed with it too much

My Zod :awesome:

Love the suit. Cav-El's hair looks way better, and he's overall more stoic as the Man of Steel.

I will nitpick slight regarding the buckle, I preferred the round buckle personally, I think it made the suit feel more organic. But it's a minor gripe, nowhere near a dealbreaker.

9.7/10 for me

This is the only comparison you need...

sweet Jesus that SR suit, it looks worse every passing year. The only thing i would take from it is that it tried to add some briefs to break the color scheme, but those super short briefs are horrible.

Yeah, it really was an eyesore. And that angle and ridiculous pose Routh is doing make it look even worse. Seriously, he looks like he's pulling his big boy pants up. I still can't fathom how Singer and company took a look at that picture and said, "That's it! Release this one first! It'll get the fans really pumped for this movie!"

He also has an extra line on his boots. And the cuffs aren't as full as in MOS, they're more like the oblique lines now, but they go further up his arms. And most important, his hair is shorter and looks MUCH better than MOS. I don't think we can really tell from this pic if the S is smaller though.

And has anyone noticed that the yellows are much brighter?

Now that there is a more HD look at it I'm pretty sure I prefer it. The new wrist detailing seems to fit in more with the rest of the suit, the colours seem brighter, and I like the subtle detailing of the S on the belt buckle. Only gripe is the smaller S shield, but I like the new way it is embossed onto the suit.

Yeah, the hair looks perfect. I had no issues with his hair in MOS, but it looks even better here.

I don't really like the changes to the suit. They seem a bit Unnecessary to be honest. I prefer the oval buckle to the square. I like the old piping over the new and the symbol looks smaller to me? The only thing that I think could look better is the colour but the lighting in this shot makes it difficult to tell.

It takes my hairdresser two hours to straighten my hair. It takes me three. No one I tell this to believes me, because they simply cannot conceive that it takes so long to do.

It's so difficult to manage when it's just in its natural state when it is long. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to have consistent hair (and make it look good) when it's so short.

Can you imagine the amount of product they put on Cav-El to control his curls? Useless in the end, I say :hehe:

I hope they don't demand to get his hair straightened...like my hairdresser does...

Poor Brandon Routh. They might as well have given him a tutu to wear.

The Returns suit doesn't look so bad in the movie. That's an awful photo of it.
