2015 NFL Thread: Game On - Part 6

Fair enough, but your Bengals are no angels either. Not denying anything you just said, in fact I agree with it. But it's gotten to the point where it just feels like every team is dirty as sh** and gets away with way too much.

****ing Burfict could've broken off of that tackle against Brown. Or he could have, you know, NOT aimed for his ****ing head. But that's just par for the course with the Bengals. Piss-poor tackling technique.

I still can't discuss that playoff game without devolving into a frothing maniac.

Just watched the Pittsburgh/New Orleans game and my god are the Steelers ridiculous. Two occasions of leading with the helmet in one game (only one called) and a horse collar. And people wonder why Bengal fans throw garbage at them.

I know it's not P.C. but the Steelers have been dirty for years, and I root for them to get injured every play. Not the Ravens, not the Browns, not anyone else. Just the Steelers. Tired of seeing them regularly laying hits like this on other teams. The day they can actually play respectfully consistently is the day I'll wish them good health again. That likely won't happen though until Tomlin's gone.

The thing with the Bengals is that they have only one dirty player. One! Burfict needs to clean it up, yes, but who else on the Bengals warrant them being called a dirty team? Pacman? He's not dirty... he's just moody. He says stupid stuff and lets his attitude get a hold of him, but he doesn't go out to hurt people. Burfict had maybe 1 or two more dirty plays last year as the Steelers did last night by 3 different players. Give them another game and they'll surpass it. So there is absolutely no hypocrisy in my opinion in the slightest.

Eh, Pacman roughed up Amari Cooper last season for absolutely no reason. Honestly should have been ejected from the game for it.

Football season hasn't even started yet and Romo's skeleton has already been pulverized.

Anyone notice what Colin Kaepernick's been doing?

He spent all of yesterday talking about how good he felt taking that hit, and everyone on ESPN was saying it was a good thing.... 6-10 weeks don't sound all that much like he took it well. :funny:

Seriously. If someone is fighting for a starting gig, why do controversial things? Mr. Kappernick, Blaine Gabbert thanks you.

Wow. Romo's out for a couple of months with a broken vertebrae.

Jason Garrett must be thrilled. Jerry just found an excuse to keep that mediocre yes-man around for another year.

I think the Bengals have more than one. That said, I'll say the same thing I said again last year after that playoff game when Mike Tomlin gave Joey Porter the game ball for instigating a penalty:

The Bengals are dirty because Marvin Lewis allows it.

The Steelers are dirty because Mike Tomlin encourages it.

The latter is much worse.

Sitting on the bench and making anti police statements? Yup.

If I were Frisco's police chief, I'd pull my officers from 49er game security detail.

2 responses that I loved.

Jason Garrett offered to give Romo his spine since doesn't use it.

His heart is in the right place but his brain isn't. I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure it's up his ass.
Kapernick was sitting on the bench because he was use to it.

I'm glad that Dak Prescott is playing in the NFL this year and will no longer be abusing Kentucky defenses. What a nightmare that guy was.

I think the Cowboys are gonna move on from Romo after the season. This consistent injury plague has to be annoying. He's going to be 37 next year as well.

Rayne Dakota Prescott

sounds like a porn star

but Im calling him Rayne, thats his first name

Hey, congratulations to the Jacksonville Jaguars for finally making it onto Sunday Night Football! :D I think we should do some Jaguaring to celebrate.

Well look at that. A whole game and not a single Bengal headhunted. Imagine that ;)

Glad AJ Green is ok.
