Since when is that immature? I said immature b/c of some ppl's idiotic disgust with the Lex/Lana relationship. They're both adults...nothing gross about it.
Tony, Avid was joking. :O

hmm.. not sure Clark would agree 100%.. :)

in a sense of course..

if it somehow reminds him, or makes him think of that car accident, and if death as horrible as that was - is still not out of his system, it might trigger something pretty close to "gross", painfull and nausiating at least.. :(

Oddly enough, the Lexana doesn't bother me a bit. I kinda like it.
I mean, it's not my first choice of pairings (as some of you know ;)), but I think it's a nice change of pace for the show and offers some character development opportunities for Lex and Lana that we didn't have previously.

It's kinda hot too...:O

But, um.. yeah.. I'm still pulling for the Clana to resolve in a manner much better than it has. Unlike most people, if they went there again and I'd be happy as a fangirl clam. :p (but I don't hold my breath over it.)

You want me to give you the episode through AIM?

Sure.
When are you on?

I am busy today, maybe at 5 or something like that?

Yeah I was joking, but to be thought of as immature at my age.... well at least I know I still have it. ;)

Aside from the great character development that we're finally getting for Lana, I cant see how anyone could think that the way Lex manipulated Lana into this relationship is healthy.

It's definitely not healthy, but it's hard not to enjoy it. I've had my share of unhealthy relationships and in the end, they made me a stronger, more independant person. I enjoy Lexana because I'm hoping that the end result will be a wiser, stronger Lana.

Or maybe I'm hoping for a wiser, stronger, evil Lana. It's hard to tell at this point. :O

She can be evil for just a little, little bit, but I dont want her to stay that way.

I didnt say it was healthy...but I think its enjoyable to watch, and after Lexmas, I'm glad to see Lex getting what he wants. I think I'm one of the few here who still sympathizes with him.

I agree with that. If she does dabble in the Dark Side, I hope that it's brief.

My mother, who's also a huge Smallville fan is a rabid Lexana shipper. She's yelled at the television several times when Clark's pining over Lana: "Noooo, you're already a good person!! LANA NEEDS TO SAVE LEX!" It's funny, but she's setting herself up for a huge disappointment.

I dont think she'll necessarily turn evil, but she might look at things from Lex's perspective. With the two of them knowing about all this evil alien invader stuff, if Lana were to find out about Clark...she might think he's one of them and therefore assume he's bad too. Its not that much of a stretch either since she's seen Clark act evil (when he's on red K).

I wouldn't mind her spiraling a little further down the path rather than just looking at things from Lex's perspective. But I do think that the evil alien invader stuff puts the kibosh on Clark telling or revealing his secret to Lana anytime soon.

I hadn't thought about the RedK stuff, but you're right--if Lana finds out about Clark, she could easily think that he's one of the evil invaders because of her current feelings of betrayal and with Lex's manipulation of Clark as the bad guy. Or at least not totally trust him like she did in Reckoning.

...Gah, now I want to watch Reckoning again. I absolutely love the opening scene in the FOS. :O

The way I look at it, I could definetly see her relationship with Lex growing stronger and her being "evil" but she will see things as they really are by the end of next season but I could definelty see Lexana going for a long time

Lana turning 18 also helped things a bit, though I believe the age of consent in Kansas is 16....

Ya know it's little nuggets of information like that very item, that makes me wonder if that same info isn't used to determine settings for all WB (CW) shows.

You mean setting Smallville (the town) in Kansas? Well, in SV's case, I think that idea might go back a little further than the WB network...

LOL ;) :D

touche

In their case it would mean "acceptable" content.

Clark Kent to Lois Lane: "There are times when I don't think you know me at all.
And others where I think you know me better than anyone"

That's one of the many other reasons why, In The Future Lois will become his Wife & Clark will discover she is Is True Soulmate .

This other quote gives another reason why Lois is DESTINED to be with Clark.

When we were married, everyone asked me the same question. "You're Superman. Why Lois Lane?" I knew she was the girl for me the moment I met her. Lois was brutally honest, curious as a cat, and you'd never get the last word in. She was the most human woman I'd ever met. But on the inside she was more super than I could ever be. - Infinite Crisis #5   :supes:

Nice! :D

I like how they tied the Harley in, since Lois wouldn't have known about Clark's "escapades" in Metropolis the prior year LOL. She *does* know him well, apparently.

Lois scared me in that scene, her smile did lol.. they uglify Erica for some reason.
