7.09 - Gemini - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Knew it. Clark was acting like he was on Red K or Clark Luthor when he was talking to Lana earlier- he freaked me out...

I must admit, I did not see that one coming. Kinda threw me for a loop there. Although, I did think Clark looked a little too Supermanly when he was talking about taking Lex down.

So if that's Bizzarro in Smallville, then how did he have Clark's memories of when Chloe deciphered the stuff for him last time, etc?

Good episode, but I just wish there was more Clark and hope that the story keeps moving forward like this. It's going to suck having to wait like another month or so for the next episode.

I would have been more surprised by the twist had I didn't know that a twist was coming. Yeah, Clark had only 2 seconds of screen time (Bizarro had 2 minutes). Best part of the episode? Erica Durance in that gold shirt. Yum!

OH SNAP, BIZZARRO IS WITH LANA AND CLARK IS FROZEN IN THE FORTRESS!!!:eek::eek: THAT WAS A FUN EPISODE, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHERE IT GOES NEXT!!!:D:up::super:

Well I thought it was a hoot! Being spoiled with clips didn't really take away too much from my enjoyment of this episode.

I love watching Tom stretch his wings. And someone better see if I have a fever, but I really enjoyed CHLOE in this episode too. :p

*sigh* Now the long wait until the next one. :(

So much awesome to this episode. So, SO much!!! :D

OMG!

*pants*

Okay, I saw Grant being a clone coming... that was what I had been thinking had happened.

I mean: No way they'd be so stupid to retcon out Memoria, or at least I had hoped not, but Bizarro!

Wow.

:D

Awesome!

But poor Clark... Bizarro is going to be living his life anyway, despite him fighting against it in the season preem, but how?

Did Bizarro co-opt the FOS?

Or is the AI version of Jor-El like the Eradicactor and just wants his "son" to be a good little Kryptonian and take over the world?

Is that why he was so interested in Brainiac? Bizarro wants help taking over the mud ball Clark calls home?

GAH!

Damn them all to hell! I can't believe we have to wait like 5 or 6 weeks to the next one!

:(

That is all until I come back after my review is written.

Good thing I have the day off tomorrow, I think I'm going to be spending most of it on the computer writing so I can get my first draft out quick.

:D

Well, I never saw that coming. I mean I figured something was up when I saw Clark flying up the stairwell, but I didn't see Bizarro coming.

Kal Kai where the devil are you ?

I need a gif of Kal-EL frozen in the F.O.S.

Yeah, I thought it was weird that Clark flew up the stairwell and they didn't show something like a jump effect. Shame on me for not realizing something was up.

The dead give way was at the beginning of the episode . (When we last saw Kal-EL @ the end of "Blue" in the very finale scene @ the F.O.S. he was wearing The Red Coat & Blue t-shirt , blue jeans)

In this episode this Clark returned from the F.O.S. with blue jacket & and red t-shirt & dark jeans

yeah I noticed that too! I knew he was Bizarro just by that getup.

 The giveaway was what was coming out of Clark's mouth in that opening scene. Totally un-Clark like attitudes: He was far to willing to give up on finding Kara (he practically shrugged and said, "meh." Maybe Pat's been talking to him. LOL!), and his encouraging Lana to continue her investigation of Lex when he knows how much she needs to get past all that.

Tom played it really well, with subtle hints at his insincerity by laying it on just a teensy bit thick. I'm still a little put out that neither Lana or Chloe recognized that this was not Clark. Of course, that would have ended the episode fairly quickly.

Did his hair look darker to anyone else? I swear, it was darker.

Allison did a really wonderful job in this. I thought her scenes with Jimmy were some of her very best.

I really felt for Grulian. I wonder if they are going to have him suddenly break down at some point like the other clone did. Cute Lois anvil wth her mentioning that her future guy would definitely not be someone she worked with. ;)

My girl Lana is quite the resourceful woman when she needs to be. I did snicker at how she talked about having "connections" who moved the contaminated woman for her. So very Luthorian, but with a conscience.

I had to laugh at my husband's reaction to Clark zooming off to save Chloe and Jimmy. He is notsomuch a fan, but he half-watches only because he's usually in the room. When Clark zoomed away, my husband was like, "HE FLEW! Did you see that? Did he just fly? When did he learn to fly???" I was giggling and told him to just watch and see. :D

Thanks Kai

I could tell he wasn't Clark even before he opened his mouth. Was it because I knew a twist would be in the episode? Maybe. But his clothing was the dead giveaway. Bizarro wore the same thing from the premiere. I just wonder why Martian Manhunter is slacking. Isn't he supposed to be keeping an eye on him on Mars. I thought Bizarro was trapped on Mars. I guess things will be explained in the next episode or two.

I thought Chloe's line about how it's her thing to kiss someone when the world is ending was pretty funny--nice throwback to the scene where she laid one on Clark during Zod's destruction.

Can't wait for it to return after the break.

Anyone else think that perhaps Grant was born from Lana's clone? Or perhaps Lana's original baby's sonograms were in fact the sonograms of the clone?

The other body that wasn't alive that she used in the accident could have also held the baby, and gotten the sonograms from there... this makes sense if the dud is from the clone lana, and the "real" Grant is from Lana.

Maybe Lex's line about wanting a family was to have a baby, but make the baby a clone.

I really, really enjoyed this episode. We learned a lot...

Julian Luthor is a Clone, don't know how many Lex clones were made...

Lex is now the owner of the Daily Planet :woot:

So Chloe is a healer... Im glad she really doesn't have to cry every time she uses her power..

Clark is Bizarro, which I think can be fun. We got Lex, Bizarro, and mention of Brainiac/Milton Fine in one episode! Thats 3 Villains!!!

Almost thought Chloe was going to say Bruce Wayne, not Bruce Willis!

God, I can't wait for another episode...

:wow: & here I was going to ask for a recap for tonight's episode since I completely missed it. I'm so mad about that.:csad:
