It is still surreal for me that Brie Larson is about to win an Oscar for Best Actress.

I don't know if it's just me, but the more these actors who I've grown up watching start to pass away the harder it is for me to watch their movies any more.

Well yeah, but I have known her since her non-starter pop career. Watched a lot of stuff that I didn't particular want to for her little roles. She is also from over here, so a lot of news talk about this.

I liked Fury Road but I just don't see what was so great about it. It was an adrenaline rush that looked really good with a pretty shallow but interesting story.

It was an impressive culmination of storytelling that worked with the highest extremes of shooting conditions, practical effects and stunt work. It's like juggling live grenades. I actually felt something leaving Mad Max compared to leaving Revenant and just thinking like well..........there was that.

But everything is subjective.

I'm not a fan of Leo, I don't hate him, I'm just not a fan. As I said the good news about him winning is that his hardcore fans will shut up about how under-appreciated he is.
