Chris Rock leaving the stage while saying "I'm a good person" to himself was the most relatable thing I've ever seen on television.

Well yeah, but I have known her since her non-starter pop career. Watched a lot of stuff that I didn't particular want to for her little roles. She is also from over here, so a lot of news talk about this.
Oh okay, I get you. I didn't know about her pop career until I started reading about her entire career.

I think I SEE SPIDEY just hates life.

I've never seen Stutterer but I figured it would win because the Academy has always been fascinated by movies about people who stutter.

Wow there's a few clips floating around of some of the *******s from the Revenant not clapping when the Mad Max costume design winner was walking up. Including the director. **** those guys.

Talk to me, Goose... what happened?

That Tremblay kid is so cute it's nauseating.

Inarritu is a pretentious ass. That's no secret.

I don't know if it's just me, but the more these actors who I've grown up watching start to pass away the harder it is for me to watch their movies any more.
It usually has the opposite effect on me. I find myself revisiting older movies now more than ever, partially for that reason. Robin Williams is an exception, though. I think because of the nature of his death vs. the nature of his roles, they just hurt to watch still.

the practical effects, cinematography, art direction etc etc in Fury Road is all very impressive and very creative but again the movie was a fun as hell romp for me but I just dont understand why it's an amazing film. The story was decent and I liked Furiosa's character too but I don't know...I'm just not seeing what made it so great outside of being a solid action film with amazing visuals.

Again, I liked the film, just don't get the praise.

After Williams died, I felt the urge to go back and rewatch his bench monologue in Good Will Hunting. Was already moving, but so much more now :csad:

foreign language film should be one of those pre ceremony awards.

Oh f*** Oscars, you have to humiliate Byun-Hung Lee by mentioning that he was in GI Joe?

Really? Wow.

Son of Soul. One of the few World War 2 films that didn't "wow" me. They could have been so much more depraved :o

Such an amazing performance by Williams in that film  That movie is one that still to this day whenever I come across it, I have to watch it.

LOVE the Indiana Jones theme playing for Joe.
