Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - S2E1 "Shadows"

I wonder how long the writers are gonna play the Hannibal Lecter angle with Ward before his inevitable escape.

He'll probably figure into the midseason finale before Agent Carter arrives for her tour of duty on Tuesday nights.

Hot damn that's how you kick off the season! It was spectacular. I meant to live post along with everyone but was getting a haircut. Need to watch it again since I missed a few parts but look forward to doing so. I really hope people gave this another chance because I think this episode would change their tune on the show

I'm sure we'll get to explore Creel more throughout the season. I thought this was a good introduction to him.

Hopefully you can enjoy the season, Torch, even if you didn't love the premiere.

Yeah,I'm sure it'll pick up eventually.

I did like the implication that Creel is basically a junkie for the different types of things he absorbs.:hehe:

He never did use the Diamond form.I guess he's saving it for later.:woot:

I don't think he'll escape. He'll probably be let out for some reason......

Are these the same writers from last season? The tone seems way different and it's a lot more exciting. If I was with Disney, I would have fired them all and maybe they did. I know this is only the first episode but it exceeded all my expectations.

Kinda hope they bring back real Simmons relatively quick. Just not sure I would like if imagination Simmons is all we get.

Its certainly more serious and the jokes were minimal compared to the beginning portion of last season.

I wonder if Coulson & Flying Man came 2 an agreement in secret

Diamond form wouldn't be very useful in a fight. They are the hardest substance on earth, but their crystalline structure means that they shatter relatively easily from blunt impact. Machine gun fire would do a number on him.

I noticed that last transformation when he touched the street he left ONE Arm flesh. There must be something where he needs to leave PART of himself flesh in order to transform back

It's all of the same writers.

Different Writers.
I THINK episode 3 is by one of the Russo's

The part where Coulson was trying to speak like Talbot with Koenig cringing in the background was hilarious though. They definitely let the humor flow a lot more naturally. It's funny, they really seem to be trying to emulate the tone of TWS, which is the absolute best thing they could do.

Just a thought...if Simmons is helping Fitz remember words...then
He knew them all along.

he's thinking the right words.. but he never says them. at least at the end when they showed she wasn't really there. he just said right, after "she" said the right word

Well folks, Gotta lock up. See ya tomorrow!

You both can't be right. Either way here's hoping this pace stays. It's a welcome change as compared to last season. I was pissed at myself after every episode it seemed because it had so much potential but yet it was so wasted and stupid. Skye was all over this episode but yet I didn't get sick of her like I normally do.
