i made a joke that skye can go to Tahiti to recover, and that's what they name the next episode?

lorelei is the guest list; maybe its the stinger at the end since sif is not named...

also, agent triplett? and characters named alpha and beta? (names for potential aliens?)

I think "Tahiti" means they're going to break protocol and find out the various ways they attempted to bring Coulson back and use those means on Skye. Should be a good episode for Coulson to find more about his entire situation, looking forward to that.

Yeah, I surprised to see Lorelei on this cast list too. Sif isn't appearing until episode 15, so maybe you're right about Lorelei being the stinger.

And the alpha/beta business... could they be freaky experiments or something?

I think you're exactly right.

I'll repeat what I said in the GD thread, I think I'm going to enjoy seeing May beat up Quinn (tease of it at the 16/17 sec. mark in the promo) - regardless of reason, whether she's actually trying to get information or she's just royally pissed off at him for what happened in TRACKS

I'm thinking that Lorelei will have to show up at the end of the show. No way they'd introduce her while Skye is dying and they are introducing Agent John Garrett.

It's gonna be a good one when March comes.

I really hope Garrett becomes a recurring role for Paxton. Maybe even show up in an MCU film.

Paxton is awesome. I said before I hoped they'd keep him around for occasional appearances on the show (instead of killing him off) but I wouldn't mind at all if he showed up in one of the movies. Hell they could easily populate a Nick Fury/Shield movie at this point.

Bill Paxton is the best ever, as defined by Urban Dictionary:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bill+Paxton

Bill Paxton
1. (noun) An actor of unquestionable talent. Bill Paxton can not only light up a screen, but he also lights up our hearts. A glimpse at his face is a glimpse into heaven. Paxton's works are masterpieces, and include such brilliant films such as Twister, Aliens, Apollo 13, Titanic, Vertical Limit, and of course, Big Love. Someone with such a vast resume not only deserves our respect, but also our hearts.

2. (adjective) Used to describe someone who has mad *****es at his disposal, much like Bill Paxton does in "Big Love"
-yo Bill, you got mad hunnies, how you do it?
-I'm Bill Paxton, that's how. Now I have to jump in my rocketship and control the weather.

...include such brilliant films such as Twister, Aliens, Apollo 13, Titanic, Vertical Limit, and of course, Big Love.

how dare they not include Weird Science! :argh:

Apparently, there's also a character named Alpha Ray, so there's that... *shrug*

holy baby Jesus...

Anyway: IMHO the episode is called "Thaiti" because they'll go in Thaiti... the slaughterhouse where "Thaiti" were born, the secret lab, the magical place...

The next episode will be painful, for Phil.

He's going to be killed off anyways since he's already been killed by a Terminator, Predator and an Alien.

He's also soiled himself in True Lies, a film which also features Oscar Winning Producer Grant Heslov.

Episode 11 (flashes to coulsons resurrection)

They look kinda similar don't they

It's been noted before, but yes, the later is clearly referencing the former. In fact, this exact combination actually shows up in at least one spot on the blackboard.

For example, from the top-left Skrull letter (looks like a 3), follow the horizontal line to the left of it. Just beneath that line, towards the left end of it, you'll see the three prominent vertical marks that aren't on a line (note in contrast, how most of those short vertical marks are on a line). That section of the board matches the engraving.

good catch! everything is connected

this seems to shown that coulson's resurrection had something to do with the diagram on the board...it raises a few questions/speculations:
1. if it is alien language, then is it chitauri or something else or older; in the avengers, the chitauri were like reanimated corpses with the neural receptors keeping them alive?.. would fury have used it on coulson (most likely, but why him?)

2. who were the people sitting in the room in ep.4 trying to decode the writing? it wasnt centipede, or cybertek.. was it shield or some other nefarious organisation...
and if it worked on coulson, does it mean someone translated/decoded it?

the new episodes cant come sooner...
