Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - S02E11 - "Aftershocks"

Good episode tonight Skye is getting more powerful.

I really liked the episode and I think they did well with the ending, where they had the team bring up memories of Tripp.

Next week, Sif talking about Skye:

"she's dangerous"

Damn right she is.

Thought it could be him, although his powers and appearance are different. Both are Inhumans

People thought he was Reader (he seems to have a very similar role), but his power set is completely different. Reader also isn't naturally blind.

I'd like to go by more than just a first name to think this Gordon is the same, though. I know it hasn't stopped Raina speculation, so maybe I'm asking for too much. ;)

I kind of didn't like that Hydra basically took each other out...but I guess the show wants to focus on the Inhumans and leave Von Strucker as the "last" Hydra leader.

Also, it didn't make much sense that Mr Hyde mentioned putting a team together, and then immediately abandoned Raina...but again...I guess they wanted to get her with the Inhumans.

Is it just me, or did SHIELD cover the spectrum of emotions when suddenly confronted with new powers/being different better in two conversations between Raina/Calvin and Skye/Fitz than it was ever done in any X-Men movie?

"You're just...different now. That's okay."

IMDB has him listed as Reader...but I think anyone can edit that sort of thing.

good to know

Skye: "there's something very wrong with me"
Fitz: "No, you're just different now...and there's nothing wrong with that"

Fitz shows once again why he's the heart of SHIELD.

I believe you need an account to edit IMDB but idk what else is needed.

I love how they showed Fitz first naturally freaking out about her being different and after that coming to accept it.

It could be that they want to back off from Hydra since that plays an important role in the movies, and will replace them with Leviathan. That would connect AoS and Agent Carter more tightly.

Marvel never ceases to amaze me. Keep it up.

I'm also kind of irritated that they went and seemingly ended the Hydra plot line just like that.

But hopefully Hyde's team involves, Ward, 13, Donnie and a few others for a Master of Evil team.
